Sparkle, you will never live that one down. But, now I always think twice--at least--before parking anywhere near a beach. So, it was probably a good lesson, even though an expensive one for you. So, you really did it on purpose, right?

It's beginning to get chillier here in Coffeyville, KS. Me, who never wears slippers, finally ordered some shearling ones from Sierra Trading Post and absolutely love them! It would be fun to wear them to work but can't, so they feel so wonderful after a ten-hour night of standing. It's hard to take them off.
We'll be working here until Dec. 23, and I learned my lesson last winter about preparing for very cold weather. So, have made simple window shades using some great 4-layer fabric from Fabric Depot in Portland, OR and lots of Velcro.

Need to get some of that water hose wrap as well. I've got two electric space heaters that work well in this small rig as well as some nice small electric appliances. Since it's necessary to unhook and drive across the street for propane, I'm using as little as possible.
