Metal drinking glasses

Postby VickieP » Wed Sep 30, 2009 10:40 am

Help, I have some of those old style metal drinking glasses that come in different colors. You used to get them with a metal pitcher from tupperware or something. My problem is that when going through things in the rv cabinets I found that I couldn't get them unstuck. I know there is a trick to this, something about pressure in there, but can't remember what it is. I tried the freezer but that wasn't it. Any help?

Put ice in the top one, put the base of the stack or the bottom one (whatever applies) in a sink full of hot water. The top one should eventually pop free.... repeat for each one stuck inside.

Thanks Jan, I'll try that. I have 6 stuck together and couldn't remember the trick.

I just tried that with my two stuck Tervis Tumblers - didn't work!
I'll just have to get off my lazy arse and mail them back (lifetime guarantee...)

Hope it works for you, Vickie.
I sure wouldn't loan you one of my glasses at the GTG.
Hommie, yes. You, no. Well, a paper cup, maybe.
Unless I'm at the bottom of the lake, dead - moidered by a meanie.

We had those when I was a kid. Do remember something about hot water to get them unstuck but don't recall the details.
