I know I'll be fine - but you know how the mind is...does goofy things at the most inopportune moments!
I want to make sure I get a good night's sleep so I'll be on top of my game for the Vickie Challenge!

Fight it all you want Mitch, here's the proof that you are the mean one here and everyone just reinforced my case, LOL. Thank you Ladies!
Now, let's all keep with the plan we talked about earlier,,, Ava, make sure to reinforce that she keep all locks locked, Cedar, you did your part about keeping the curtains closed tight, the rest of you ladies, great job in keeping her confidence up and therefore very unsuspecting,, quick thinking, Tina on offering Hershel, but we know it was just part of the overall plan,,,, she'll never suspect anything now,,,,,When we remove her chocks and start rolling her down hill towards the water she'll be so surprised, LOL. I can't wait, thanks for all your help!!!

I guess I have never actually been alone in my trailer in civilization. I am so used to sleeping alone at night in an open campsite or in my leanto, that any sort of trailer-like structure seems like a fortress! (I know it isn't, but it seems it!) I like the idea of the wasp spray, which I will get when I take to the roads. And I would have never thought about setting off the car alarm! Thanks, Ava! I need to try it here to see if it works....I hope I can shut it off, if it does! That should bring people to their feet in the dead of the night! I never use my blinds or window curtains where I usually camp, either, although I suppose I would if I had 'neighbors' at a regular campsite....just so they couldn't see I am alone. And Molly is my early warning alarm, for sure! She can hear a mouse, let alone a human trying to get in!

A dead bolt is only as good as the door frame it's attached to, although it does keep someone from just sneaking silently inside.

After your first night out alone, you'll be as brave as a lion!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

OK Mitch, how many other confessions are waiting in the background? Seems like Vicki needs some more fodder. Maybe if you get it all out of her system, she'll----nope don't think anything will work    You two just need to BE PREPARED and try not to get the GTG kicked out of the campground   carold

Won't be ME getting us kicked out - I'll be too busy trying to get out of the trailer at the bottom of the lake.
Vickie's the troublemaker, remember?

Mitch, you'll be fine. How many times have you heard or read about crime at a campground? (Not this premeditated drowning that Vickie is talking about).

Trudy has a good idea with the wasp and hornet spray. I keep it in the camper and actually used it only for its intended purpose. Although 22 feet is a good distance. I also keep an air horn in the camper, boy is that thing loud. Between the dogs, car alarms, wasp spray and air horns, we shouldn't be afraid to camp alone.

Tina, keep a tight leash on Herschel. He is absolutely adorable and could be taken by anyone at the GTG.

I don't worry about it. Not only do I have Monty as an early warning system, I am also accompanied by Browning (32 caliber).

You are so brave to tell of a weakness such as that here, looks as if some might take advantage, although you did have some really good advice too. I've been there, only wasn't in my motorhome, but in my home when I lost my husband, but everything is great now. And you will be fine, you will have so much fun at the GTG that by the time bedtime rolls around and you've enjoyed enough of Carolyn's special drink, you won't know a thing. As for Vicky, removing the chocks and rolling you into the river, just fix her a couple of stronger drinks then you do the others, she'll be asleep before any of us

Just bought a new can of Wasp Spray, for the buggers here, but good idea to take with me, me thinks. My little maggie, is a good watchdog though, she seems to hear a pin drop and lays quietly by my side in the r.v. and growls really low, so I am sure to be awake and can aim that can really good. Really good suggestions !!!! (might need it for wasps too)
