The fort is privately owned, but open to the public and is a national historic site. Here are some pics from our day together... Here a re-enactor in period costume gives a demonstration of the firearms of the revolutionary war.

Then we drove up Mt. Defiance, also in Ticonderoga. It has a panoramic view of the lake, looking down on the fort.
Just when I thought Laura was such a nice person she turned so meeeeeeean and tried to push me off the cliff!

She told me to put that pic up and to say that! hee hee..... )We really had a great day, it was nice to meet her mother,... and we definitely had fun.... yepper,... we're pals!
