Let's get together!

YeeHaw! Hatfields & McCoys are at it again from LA to TN, gotta love it!

Any gtg I've been to everyone has brought their own plate/bowl utensils and chair. That's what I was planning on doing anyway. But if I see the flamingo plates I'll have to use one. Margie had those at our last one. They are so cute.

I'm bringing a breakfast casserole, you are right, Mitch; far easier. Cooked the chicken tonight and put it in the freezer so when I get back from my CRUISE it will be easier to get everything together. I'm getting excited.

You put chicken in your breakfast casserole? That's a new one on me!

Well, you have an incredible time cruising around.
Where you going (I'm sure you told us, but I forgot)...

I think the chicken is for the BooFay chicken enchilada soup/stew extraordinaire! I can't wait to try it and then get the recipe, LOL.

well I can see I missed a lot of the shenanigans while I was gone, but it looks like nothings changed much! I've been watching the weather and looks like I can't get out of here until Thursday. 40MPH wind gusts thru the desert tomorrow all the way to NM, then really bad stormy weather thru Oklahoma and Arkansas on Thurs. So here I sit all loaded and ready to go...Still should make it ok by Tues even leaving on Thurs, just gonna have to do a few more miles per day and hope I don't run into bad weather on the way. Sigh. BF isn't coming, so you can scratch him off the list. Sam the cat tore a big chunk of meat off of his leg while I was at the desert, so I'm kind of watching that, too, for infection. Can't imagine what in the world he was doing to do that. Stupid cat. Guess that's all the news I have for now. Gonna go check stuff to make sure I don't forget anything. I'm kind of living half in the house and half in the rv.....none of us are sure just where we're supposed to be!

Speaking of weather...here's the 10-day forecast for Nashville.
I guess we need to bring lots of books we've been wanting to read!

What do we do if it's raining at either of the Boo-Fay times?

Do they have a pavillion there that ya'll could use? When we were at Ferryboat they had a nice pavillion, with lots of tables and electricity. Came in very handy! If not, I'd suggest raincoats! LOL

After I noticed your pavilion, I looked around at the Seven Points website. You have to rent it and it's not cheap. I think I'll call and check it out!!!

ON EDIT: It's $40 for up to 50 people. We'll have around 10 people, so maybe around $4/each. I just called the campground and no answer. Too early, I guess!

Do RVers in bigger rigs carry 'telescoping tent poles' and tarps as a matter of course? And then we'd have to have guy lines?
I know I don't have any of that stuff. :(

Anyone?

I just called the campground and the guys said they don't have a pavilion there - it's at the day use area. Said just go over there and maybe no one will be using it, so no cost. He also said they DO NOT sell firewood. First time I called, lady said they did sell firewood...frustrating trying to get a straight answer these days!

Well, I'm bringing my $25 Wally World propane fire! I actually bought a 2nd one yesterday...don't know if it's gonna be a Christmas present or a back-up for me! Hmmmm....

I know our site description said that the trees would interfere with awnings. Unless they've been trimmed since then, maybe?

I thought that Carolyn had said that there was a place outside the cg but like, right there by the entrance that sold fire wood. Maybe they just don't/can't say that THEY do?

Since it appears that rain could be the order of the day occasionally during our TN GTG, I put together this map of Nashville television stations and their corresponding compass headings. There are others, but I picked the major networks.

All stations can be found here:.. http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/Stations.aspx

Made it to Holbrook Az today, 550 miles, wind, wind and more wind! Don't matter which way I go or when I leave I get wind! That crap just follows me wherever I go...SOB!! Settled down with lousy wifi that keeps coming and going and coming and going and yada yada yada. Got a late start this morning, Sam decided to make a run for freedom when I opened Hope's door and I had to go dig him out of the rose bushs so we could leave. Durned cat! Anyway, just checking in and hope this posts! OK done complaining, gonna take a shower and go to bed. I'm on my way...YAYYYYYY!!!
