Well it's no longer morning, but just had to come into the kitchen when I saw that Barbzee was here. Funny how I was just thinking about her not being on in awhile, and sending that prayer as I try to do when God puts someone in my mnd for no apparent reason. Glad to hear your furbaby is being pampered and hope that you are too, Barb.

My rv is still at the Ford dealership as they apparently are having trouble getting the right module to repair the power door locks. It's been there a week now, and when I do get it back after paying big bucks $$$$, I'll have to take it to have a new refrigerator ordered and installed. So hopefully It'll be cooler weather and I can do some mini-camps when I do get it back. They tell me it needs tires too (want to sell me tires no doubt), but that will wait untul spring, just before leaving for a longer trip.

Hope everyone's day is going well.

Liz, good to hear from you too. Sorry to hear that your rv is having issues, but I guess that is just the nature of the beasts!

Look what I missed this morning! It's almost 4:00 pm now, and I'm back from school!

Barbzee----WONDERFUL to see a post from you today! And extra happy to hear that your little four-footer has had no more seizures.....seizures are so scary, at least for me to watch. He just needed some pampering from you, and some extra time in your loving arms. Know that we all do miss you very much on here, but understand the needs of your family, both two-footers and four-footers. So nice to know you do check in now and then!

Liz and others who are having RV repairs, I guess patience is truly a virtue when it comes to getting these things done. Many are making repairs, or having repairs made this fall.

I am hoping to have my electric cord removed from the rig and made separate so I can wind it up properly, store it where I want it, and not have it get stuck inside again, tangled in other wires that belong to something else. Thanks to Cedar and her friend, Kathy, at Alburgh Bluegrass Festival, I got it free enough to allow it to plug into my generator. I have never liked those 'stuff-it' holes for electric wire hook up cables. We shall see what they intend to charge me to do that!

Not sure who won the football game, Cedar----I support the spirit of our school, but not necessarily the football team or any teams, for that matter. I have never liked sports. When my kids were playing or participating, I always attended every event and pretended enthusiasm! I even cheered my voice hoarse!

BUT NOW---I can see all the money spent on team equipment, team transportation, team anythings, put to way better use, such as separate desks and chairs that would be capable of fitting high school students of all sizes and shapes, rather than those antiquated 'one-size-fits-all' combination hooked-together desks and chairs. (I also know I am in the minority in wishing this! Our town is all about FOOTBALL---FOOTBALL---FOOTBALL!!!!)

I also believe that newspaper articles should be written daily to honor any students who have bettered themselves in ANY way. After the rush of this pep stuff, I may have my class take on that responsibility to submit at least an article a week to our local paper, honoring all those students in all grades and all sections who have made some outstanding accomplishment....and for some, it might be just shoe-tying! One's name in the paper for honor is a wonderful self-esteem boost.

Happy travels!

Soos, I hope you have a better local paper than we do. I belong to a club that supports the beef industry and any time we have an event or honor someone we have to pay the paper to run it. And most of the time they get the story wrong or don't identify the people in a picture correctly.
