Mesa Verde National Park Colorado

Just one of the photos I took while we were visiting Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. It is truely a Must See. And one of these days when I can walk better we are going back and taking the tours that get you right down into the buildings.

I posted several more pictures on my blog but don't feel like dealing with photobucket tonight too.
The blog is listed below thank goodness as I'm having a Senior moment - I can't remember the address right now Hope you enjoy

Glad you made it there and had time to stop at Mesa Verde. I went there in 1978, right after high school graduation. I find that area so interesting, still have a sack of Anasazi beans, they only grow in that elevation. Very good tasting bean, but does take quite a while to cook.

..

It didn't dawn on me until this morning...(remember the saying, "A house doesn't have to fall on me, ya know"? Well in my case, it does...)
Anyway, Carol, when you said you didn't feel like struggling with Photobucket - DUH on me - you guys that have published pics on your blogs or other forums can use them here on this forum WITHOUT going through Photobucket. All that this forum's software cares about is that the picture is published SOMEWHERE on the internet. For instance, I went to Carol's blog, right clicked on this picture, copied the location, and pasted the location here, in between the IMG codes inserted from above.

Hope this is clear - it's early and I'm not sure my brain is fully engaged. VERY cool pictures, by the way!

I was at Mesa Verde when I was around 8 or 10 - back then, you could freely walk there amongst the buildings. I'll try and find pics, if my Mom left me any.

Carol, the top line below is the code you posted for the picture you wanted to show.
The next line is the code I posted for the picture you wanted to show.
Note the difference I highlighted in red.

I think I got it - you are copying the 'link' url. You need to copy the 'image' url. Tell me what you see when you right click the image. I'm going to try it on my IE browser...

I can't help you with AOL. Haven't used their browser for YEARS.

On IE, it's an extra step, but still works. I just went to my other computer, which has IE7 and tried it on your blog.

Right click on the picture you want.

Click on PROPERTIES (on mine, it's the very bottom).

In the box that pops us, TRIPLE CLICK the address to the right of where it says ADDRESS (URL)
(in other words, HIGHLIGHT the COMPLETE address, starting with http and ending with .jpg)

Copy that to your clipboard (CTRL C).

Come back here and paste (CTRL V) what you just copied in between the beginning and ending IMG codes inserted from above.

Lemmee know...

Sorry, missed your question about Firefox.

Which version of Firefox do you have?

firefox 3.0.3 so to do it I have to copy to clipboard then past here can't have both forum and blog open at same time? can copy more than 1 to clipboard? then paste all at once?

easier in AOL where I can have both windows open at same time - just go back and forth. will fool with it later. any info will be helpful many thankx
