Well today was one of them marathon days - we did 420 miles from Monument Valley, UT to here in Vegas. I told The Driver he is like a horse who smells the barn - just takes the bit between his teeth and GOES! Just went out to dinner and when we got back to the car the temperature outside is 101 and its 8:00 at night. When we got here around 5 coming down the hill from Boulder City we could see a big storm over the west side of Vegas. It looked like it was pouring. No rain here where we are though. Don't know how long we'll stay here. The Driver has a list of things he wants to do besides register Jennie. And I want to go to a couple of bead shops. Haven't called our son yet to let him know we're here - tomorrow. Jennie did good on the trip. I'm going to work on my pictures tonight especially the ones from Mesa Verde and Monument Valley. And will try to get my blog caught up. Easy to get behind when the Internet is snitty.
Have fun in Vegas! It was over 100 degrees when we were there in May! If you have not gone over to the Hoover Dam...GO! They are building the new bridge there so traffic does not go over the bridge, really interesting. You still crack me up calling the motorhome Jennie LOL
Thats why when we lived here we left by the end of May and didn't come home until end of October. Now that we're in Indiana it's reversed. Mostly we're here to just get business done.
Carol.........glad to hear you, the Driver, and Jennie are all safe and sound....yep, those long drives take alot out of us, too ....Enjoy your stay....Love all the photos....
