Finally caught a pic of one of the ferocious Bunny Rabbits that taunt my boys. They have the whole property to romp on and the woods behind that, but they like to hang out just outside the boys fence. Sorry pics weren't clearer, but I had to take them through the glass and two fences, rascally rabbits!

OK I was thinking about dinner but not now. Wish I could get a picture of the jackrabbits around here. They have the biggest ears I've ever seen.

No, it's a Satsuma tree. We just got it in January and planted it months later, not expecting it to produce this year, but they are starting to ripen now.

Its fruit is sweet and usually seedless, about the size of other mandarin oranges (Citrus reticulata), smaller than an orange. One of the distinguishing features of the satsuma is the distinctive thin, leathery skin dotted with large and prominent oil glands, which is lightly attached around the fruit, enabling it to be peeled very easily in comparison to other citrus fruits.

Yum! Love when our grocery stores get boxes of these in! How lucky are you to get a tree right in your yard!

On my daily walks in my sub'd. I have noticed several fruit trees. Mostly plum but two pear trees. It's fun to watch them ripen. If I see a piece of fruit on the ground that looks nice enough I might snag it! We do have a pear tree in the playground area, but the pears are very small, brown with tough skins. The flesh inside is very tasty, though.
