A vist from a Falconer

Over the Labor Day weekend they brought in a local Falconer with two of his birds; an eagle and a redtail hawk. They are such beautiful birds.

I had a visit from two Roadrunners at my site but they're so fast I could only get a picture of one of them.

When ever I see the hawks and falcons I think of castles and knights........

how interesting and beautiful those birds are, and I must admit about the
roadrunner, the first time I saw a real one, I was surprised it was so big.

cool!!!
when I was a teenager and getting books from the place you ordered books at school was it ??? can't remember the letters now...anyway got this book named Eagle in the Bathtub....think it was renamed when it was put into paperback formate this guy had this eagle in new york city in his apt and would keep it in the bath tub then he took it to mexico and trained it to come to him (it was a autobiography) really interesting more so than what I mentioned it but then that was a long time ago...
I too thought that the road runners were bigger than I thought

I love red-tails. Once in a while I see one flying over my house here in the Adirondacks.
