Mini-GTG at Cedar's

VTChris and I enjoyed an almost-24 hr GTG! Chris was headed south and stopped by my place. What a great visit we had. Here is Chris enjoying the sunset from my deck...

Every GTG needs a pic of the gathering rigs,... our two rigs in my back yard.

I really enjoyed having Chris stop by on her way down to FL. Do it again, Chris! The welcome mat is always out for WomenRV friends!

She sure does have a beautiful view!

Maybe next year Chris will give a bit more notice so I might be able to gather, too! I realize this year was like instant notice for Cedar. I can always use my tent/cot on that beautiful deck for the night, and not have to bring my TT!

Good to see Sophie and Chris again!

Happy travels!

Great that you guys could coordinate the brief but fun GTG. I want that deck and VIEW :) :) :) :)
I am also thinking about how these "Jello" plans work.....You post your general direction and time schedule and see if anyone is home anywhere or available in the region....This works for me. :)

Cedar, if the rv's are in the back yard and I don't see any deck, then that means that the decks are on the front of your house, maybe? I'd be afraid I'd get up early in the morning, still half asleep and go out the front door for the newspaper and fall off the deck!

I'm out in the woods here, no newspaper delivery,...and there's a railing on the deck. :D Yes, I consider the driveway approach to my house the "back" yard. I have no front yard as the deck looks down the hill into the woods and some trimmed out area where I can watch deer. Below the deck is a very rough mowed area with black eyed susans and queen anne's lace,.... There is a "fringe" of trees farther down the hill again before the hayfields.

Hope that view boosts the price when I'm ready to sell this place in a few years!

Sorry I'm late to respond. I've looked at the pictures on my iPhone, but the pic is so tiny I couldn't make out much of the background. Beautiful homestead, Nancy!! Glad you got to meet up!
