Humor for RVers

Postby jodycolorado » Mon Sep 07, 2009 9:31 am

I just read a book that was sooo funny! It was written by a Boulder psychiatrist (wife) and includes stories about her onroad experiences with her psychiatrist husband.

"Queen of the Road" author: Orion.

I just looked it up and found the website,... http://www.queenoftheroadthebook.com/ it sounds great. I think I'll order it if I can find it on Amazon. (are you ready Chris to send my order? :D ) I checked out the Martini Files and started laughing right away. Thanks, Jody!

That does sound like a good read. I like books that give me a chuckle. My daughter is a flight attendant so she bought a book written by two attendants about all the funny/crazy things that has happened to them in all their years of flying. A good laugh always makes me feel better. Thanks for sharing!

I checked Amazon and it's only $10.94 + shipping. Not too bad for purchasing. Of course, add another book or 2 to get to $25 and NO shipping fee.

Mitch, I'll ask her. I wanted to say Cabin Pressure, but I googled that and that wasn't it.

Edit 10/22: talked to DD and she said the book's name is Cabin Pressure.

OMG is this book hilarious! Was able to get it add 1/2 price Book this week and have pretty much read it straight through. Their story is great, the writing style easy to read and so funny!! Five stars is my rating. She has a blog too - can't wait to check it out.

I just finished reading "Queen of the Road" this week....it is hilarious...yet has a life lesson on self awakenings. I would strongly suggest it for a fun easy read.

I found this on-line at my library so I reserved it. Can't wait to read it!

If you want to buy a copy, you can buy a used copy at Amazon.com for a couple bucks plus shipping. I've ordered lots of used books on there and they come to me in very good condition. I would have ordered this one used if I hadn't found it at my library.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
