I did good (I think)

woohoo, I loaded Juno on my computer all by my little self, and once I get accustomed
to using it and transferring my stuff over I will be able to dump aol. I'm so tickled with
myself, I really thought it would be a big hassle. So far the only difference I notice is
the avatars are not showing up on any of the pages, pictures are showing up but not
the avatars. Don't know if it has anything to do with Juno or not. I changed my address
on my pm thingy preference, hope I did that part right, its the same as before except
with Juno, or even Yahoo cause I use that one too.

Ava, you did GREAT!!! You'll get used to it and think of the bucks you're saving.
Your AOL address is still good, too.

aol is paid until the 17th, but I'll have to contact them and tell them to stop billing
my bank account. Thats a worry cause I've heard stories it takes awhile to stop
that process and I sure don't want to have to spend money to put a stop payment
on that automatic deduction. Think I better go into the billing thing and see what
I have for options, I want to stay two steps ahead of the situation cause every
penny is accounted for.

I had a nightmare trying to stop AOL from billing me. You should maybe try to cancel before the 17th in case you have any trouble you'll have time to work on it. I don't have any automatic withdrawals, but can you tell the bank to no longer accept the AOL billing?

I would suggest going into your bank/credit union and have them do a stop processing their auto withdrawl - I did this for two accounts and they didn't even charge me.

Good luck with Juno...we used to use it until we got our wireless card with Verizon.

hey, that really was easier than I thought, went right into the billing thing and clicked
on the tab for making changes to my billing, and they had a tab for "free aol" I clicked
on that and it confirmed my changed and told me I was paid up till the 17th like I said,
and that they would no longer bill me. Hopefully it will be ok and they won't charge my
account again. Guess I was being a nerveous ninny for nothing

No, I think they used to have a reputation when they were one of the only games in town.
Had to change their tune as time marched on, sounds like.
Well, that's a relief and one less thing to worry about.
I like their email just fine. Use it for ordering stuff online (my very own personal junk mailbox) because you know you'll be on the mailing list!
