We're leaving the 5er here in the woods near Gettysburg and going up state PA to do 1 more visit with family there before we head to GA at the end of Sept.......staying at one of sisters' house...but did some more weeding out of stuff and have a bunch of clothes, etc...to give away to the crew there...got to get these closets under control...  Then on Monday, we're doing a quick trip from there to Lorain, OH to pick up a utility trailer for Ernie's BIL....as his health issues prevent him from going out to get it at Ernie's Aunt's....so busy, busy, busy....BUT....I'll have the camera and the laptop with me.....so will do some travel telling, if possible...

Have a great weekend, all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well this is late getting posted, but I had a great excuse...I was gone! We did a 4 day Harley ride with my BF's HOG group. We were in Mesquite, Nv Friday at the Virgin River Casino. They gave me $10 on a Players Club card 'cause it was my first time there and I gave them my email addy. We spent a couple of hours in the pool and a few hours later I went to bed $60 richer. What a deal! Saturday we were on the road by 8:30 on the way to North Rim Grand Canyon. Beautiful ride up and honked and waved at Beth and Sparkle as we roared by. Couldn't stop 'cause we were with a big group and the guys were in "get there" mode. But we did see a Kaibab squirrel! Yay! Little guy was in the road so we were honking and yelling at him to move before the car comming around the corner nailed him. Whew! I was surprised at how comfy the cabins were there and even had a coffee maker. Sunday we were on the road again and BF asked me if I wanted to stop and have breakfast at Kaibab Lodge and see my buddies...Well, Yeah!! Had a nice visit with Sparkle and Beth and they even bought us breakfast. Our friend was flirting a little with our Sparkle, but I told her it was a waste of time, she'd give him back right quick! LOL! Back on the road again to Sedona thru Oak Canyon. What a gorgeous ride! Spent the night in Sedona and headed out to Laughlin Monday morning where I managed to win back the $40 bucks I left there in June, plus enough extra to buy us all a buffet at the Tropicana where we stayed. Love the pool and jacuzzi there, plus I snagged us a free room. Beat feet for home Tues and spent the rest of the day lounging around the BF's pool. Back to my house on Wed. We had surprisingly good weather, altho there was a wicked storm that came thru Mesquite Fri nite....I wouldn't know, I slept thru the whole thing. Wore me out winning all that money. LOL! Sorry, no pictures, the little Cannon that I carry on the bike got drowned going over Road to the Sun in Glacier and has died. Gotta get a new one, the Kodak is to bulky to carry on the bike.

Sharon, how cool you had such a good trip AND got to visit with the Kaibab Gang! Were you introduced to Alien? :)
So, now you get to look forward to you soon-to-be-happening trip to Tennessee, et. al.

Mitch, I met Roxie a couple of years ago when I was up there visiting with Sparkle. She's a hoot! I've got 2 more trips to go on before I head out to Tn....5 day beach trip with my jeep club ladies and a jeep trip to Johnson Valley with the BF. Like I said, I've spent all summer here at home twiddling my toes and now I can't keep up with all that's going on! And of course, when I got back from the Harley ride, there was a jury summons waiting for me for Sept 28th. Sent in a request to change it to Nov 16th, but won't hear back until tomorrow.
