My fur children have issues. I'm the only normal one in the family, and that's been questioned at times.

Had to laugh at this post!! You described Abby, except you can pet her. See the hatred for me in her eyes?
She did not have any fondness for her Christmas Dress, her first and last Christmas Dress!

Naw, she still hates me from the dress fiasco!
Just kidding...she's staying home to take care of her Daddy.
(although I'm gonna put the screws to him later on to see if I can convince him that he really does want to be around a bunch of yacky women...)

BF may be coming....not sure at this point, we have to get together and co-ordinate our schedules. If he does come, that means no going to North Rim to see the girls (won't have time) and 2 more fur babies, 2 maltese.

I just went upstairs to drag my two little 12V fridges down and see if they work...right now, they're both on "HEAT" and are up to 136 degrees...supposed to reach 140.

Then I'll try the cooling end of things. I figure they might be useful for our Boo-Fays?

Hey, those are cute! They run on electricity as well as cigarette lighter? And hot and cold! How neat is that! New to my world!

So, we're going to be 9 women and 2 men. I want to be sure that
both men are in good enough cardiovascular condition to be surrounded
by such beauty, charm, wit, humor, and intelligence all in one place...

Men are so easily overwhelmed.

It sure is great to see that we are full speed ahead and are going to be just about as crazy a GTG as there ever will be! I think we are up to the challenge. I can't wait for a couple of weeks to pass but then again, I'm wishing my cruise away so nix that. I'm leaving on 9/26 and will return on 10/3 so I'll be tanned and rested from the cruise and will have to get some rest at the GTG, NOT!

Mitch, looks like you have really taken the lead on the planning. thanks! If Sharon brings her BF there will be 3 men if I read correctly.

Does anyone have a camp stove they could bring? I have one, but it looks like I probably will need both burners for breakfast, unless we can start a campfire in the morning...

Carolyn's Omlets In A Baggie need to be cooked outside.

Let us know if you have a camp stove. Thanks!

I could fix a breakfast casserole that might work better than the omeletts maybe. What do you all think? Casserole or baggie omeletts? Doesn't matter to me.

Washed, semi waxed and spiffed up Somewhere for the GTG. Yes, ladies I did it all for you. Believe that? Actually had to get 'er done before I left on my cruise 'cause I'm hitting the road when I get back beginning with the gtg.

Didn't get the top, someone is going to have to volunteer to get up there and clean for me. I saw some pix of Carold up on top of hers, hey girl, you gonna be around close by anytime soon?

Just my personal opinion here - I think a breakfast casserole would be easier.
But I've never met an egg I didn't like, so whatever you prefer.
FYI, I found a 3rd propane burner (2 on my camp stove and one on a little, single burner thing we have but never used).

I'm bringing (2) 2' square aluminum tables, and (1) 3 1/2' square table.
Those are the only portable tables I have.

What about plates, tableware, and drinkware?
(this is my first GTG, so I have no clue how it's done...)

Vickie said she's excited to meet me so she can be mean to me in person.
Ain't that just the funniest thing you've ever heard?

Mitch.....paper and plastic works great for GTG....no dishes to wash... ;) Everyone has their favorite....full-timing we use alot of paper plates with regular flatware and also have hard plastic plates and bowls....but it is usually what you prefer to use....hope this helps.... :)
