Ok, it's been one looooong day here! Went bowling first thing. Afterward went straight to the auto licensing place to get the RV titled in my name. First thing she says is I need to see the emissions test certificate. WHAT?? Yep, starting in '04 some cities in WA now require these every other year!! CHIT! So I make a trip to the RV and check all cubbie holes thinking prehaps it's had it's test and the paper is somewhere around. No such luck! So I'm still not sure about driving through the city by myself for the first time and call my Son in law 30 miles away. He was sweet enough to come and drive me and my Little Missy to get her checked out. She passed with flying colors!! Thank you, that will be $15!
AFter we leave there my SIL says, you need to drive this thing. As soon as I can pull over you're driving. My knees start to tremble but I agree. I fully trust him helping me. So I get behind the wheel and start off and he unbuckles his seatbelt and starts nosing around the RV!! Hey, get back up here in your seat mister!! There was a whistle he wanted to see where it was coming from. The back door has a small spot in the very top corner and letting in air as we drive. Ok, I start taking backroads (pretty narrow) and the first vehicle coming toward me is a flippin' school bus! I think I actually closed my eyes as we passed. I was all ready to hear my outside mirror crashing off!! But nope, I did good. In fact I drove it all the way back to the storage unit where my SIL made me back it into the space. Not once, but 5 times. So now I know exactily when to start my turn to swing it around etc. I was so please I was grinning all the way home!!
I did manage to take some pictures but my SIL was in the Rv and kept saying he didn't want his pictures shared with my RV friends! lol So in some I'm holding the camera a bit cockeyed. Sorry. Ok I'll go post the pictures separate over in the Showin' off your Rig spot!!
