Ok, I'm about to burst anyhow!
YES, I BOUGHT MY RV TODAY!! I can't believe how fast it happened but you gals were right. When it's the right one you just know it. AND the surprising part is I didn't get a B!
Up until about 3 wks ago that's all I was looking at for over a year. Who knew??
I got a 2004 BT Cruiser, 22 ft. (small C), It's in excellent shape and has only 16,000 miles on it! The owners wanted something bigger, hence the sale.
They also recently decided they didn't like the fabric on the sofa or dinette seats and had them recovered. They also used the fabric and recovered the valances to match, all in a small print in neutral shades of tan. I like it! That also means any accent color I want will work.
It also has a generator (new oil and filter and he started it), new tires (the others were at the expiration date), and lots of storage. I probably won't use half of it, but you never know! I love the 2 door fridge (which he had on and cooled down). Also has a microwave, 3 burner stove and an oven. I did use the oven in our other rigs so I'll give it a try. Had the hot water heater on, too, and he started the furnace and air conditioning for me. The TV was getting excellent reception as he had a converter already installed on it but was using only the crank up antenna. And a DVD player.
Because the banks were closed today, I'll make the actual deal tomorrow night as that's when my neighbor gets off work and can go get it with me. He own''s a BT Cruiser himself and he went with me today and was really impressed. At first he said, "you never pay the asking price", but when it came time to talk $$ I looked at him and he said, "it's a good price for an excellent rig. I'd take it or someone else will".
I was so excited my knees were shaking and I almost couldn't drive home!
It was, "meant to be". Ahhhhhhh!!!!!
All afternoon I've been making shopping lists. Wally World, here I come!!
