My dad was a cop? DH watched a lot of westerns? don't know, just another one of those words you pick up and use as necessary.
Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat.

damn know-it-all Yankees...oh, wait - I'm a Yankee; always will be...

No, Mitch, you are a damn yankee, that's a Yankee who came to visit and stayed. But it's okay, we love you.

Hey folks, give me a little while to get over this retirement stuff and I'll post an agenda w/times, etc in it and then pass out all the assignments. ( :o ) Remember it's "our" gtg, not just mine.

Margie, did you find a big enough site? I know they have some for big rigs, hope you found something. I'm glad that Roger won't mind being around us.

Since Ms"B"Haven is sold, we would have to go in the Phaeton and DH still works - but he has agreed to drive from Seven Points to work each day. He is such a nice guy! Quiet, but nice. So, I'm heading out there to see if there is a site that will work for us. Big and long is not always better (I'm referring to the Phaeton).

Hey, Margie - anything cool or not-so-cool to report on your visit to Seven Points?

First of all - only use this address in your GPS: 1810 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Hermitage, TN. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT type Nashville. Well, at least not in a Garmin like mine. I had a general idea of where the campground was located, but the first address I entered in the GPS took me to a "day use" area, but not a campground. That was my mistake, I picked the wrong address from the website. I asked someone at the day use area where the campground was located, but they had no idea.

Next I decided to trust "Lucille" the GPS and selected Seven Points Campground. I felt I was going totally in the wrong direction - away from the lake, but I've thought Lucille was wrong before and she always proved me wrong. Well, this was the time that Lucille took a fine time to leave me - in a subdivision in downtown Nashville. I finally re-checked the website and got the right address and finally ended up at the campground.

I told the campground hosts how I had ended up in a subdivision and she said they have many people tell them the same thing. So...I've warned you guys.

It's the first time I've been to Seven Points and it looked nice and clean. I saw a small dock for fishing. I took photos of 43, 45, 38 and we will be in 25 and hopefully we will fit. It's a nice long site, but I think a tree is going to block either a slide or the awning. We won't be close to the rest of you, but a little exercise won't hurt this chubby body.

For those backing into 43 and 45 - - hope trees all around you don't make you nervous.

So....how many dogs will be joining us? Annie and Buddy (Chihuahuas) will be coming with us. Maybe we could have a dog costume parade???
