Hey, stop by The Blue Marlin and pick me up. We can sidetrack to Ava's and have some panini...

Sounds like an eatin' plan to me!

No men, no kids, no phones, just food...pinch me - did I die and go to Heaven?

Leonra, see ya in a couple of days...you should have the hang of your new oven by then!
Hey, another bright idea - let's stop by the North Rim and pick up Sparkle & Co.

You do know that you can heat up all kinds of sweet rolls, cinnamon rolls, quick breads, and so forth in a toaster oven as well??? :D

B/c of you guys, I found myself starring at the Black and Decker toasters in walmart yesterday. They were about $39... was that they size several of you referred to? I haven't yet decided if I (the non cook) would use it enough to warrant finding a place to store it on board. I already got my Induction Stove top. (Cooked some eggs up real neat the other day!) So, I don't know if I would actually use the Toaster, but I guess, I could use it an eliminate the regular toaster? ...And well, except I guess SOME individuals (Mitch....)are going to expect heated sweet rolls for breakfast, now! :-)

Ok, in case anyone is interested. I did get my under-the-cabinet oven and have it up and going. Today I baked cookies and toasted an English muffin in it. Also have made my protein bar recipe and it's doing a fine job! So far so good. Here's a couple pic. (If I can remember how to post them from the infamous photobucket!)

Good Job! Is that a heat shield/disperser that is between the cabinet and toaster? Looks like with that lip on it, it would help prevent the heat from warping/drying out the cabinet doors also. I like the big clear window, the only toaster oven I had was probably 25 years ago, but I remember having to open it to see what was cooking, because the window was small and low, not easy to see in with. BTW you have a lovely kitchen! I'm glad you're enjoying it! :D

I really like that. Tell us again what brand/model it is.... I just might have to get one. It is nice being up out of the way and leaving the counter free for work space.

p.s..... VERY nice kitchen! :D

Nice oven. I, too, like that it's up and out of the way.

PS: How do you like your magnetic knife holder? I love mine (got it about maybe 6 months ago)...so easy know to find the knife you want.

1) Nashville area - Omlettes in a Baggie

2) NW TN area - Egg McMarlins

3) Arizona - Panini

4) Washington State - Anything toastable

Looks like we could freeload our way across most of the entire country! (might get a little hungry between me and Ava, but hey, that's why God made McDonald's...)

Like the toaster oven up, out of the way but right there...which means it will get used more.......... and I can hardly wait until Mitch gets the map filled in. By the time I am ready to go too it will be much more complete..... And just think some of the way stops will be moving around. So we can chase them down.... :)

I use my under-the-cupboard Black and Decker toaster oven EVERY day, and it's been up nearly since I moved in here----or almost----at least 25 years. It does have a heat shield between it and the bottom of the cupboard, and it's never caused any warping or breaking of cups inside! I have a hinged trap door on the bottom of the oven which allows me to clean out the crumbs. I desperately need the counter space, so it's been perfect for me.

Beautiful kitchen, Lenora, and good job installing oven!

Now I'm off to clean out my crumbs and clean my see-through door on the thing! The neatness has reminded me to tidy mine up!!

Happy travels!
