Since We're On The Subject

Since we've been talking about the Snipping Tool, I thought you might find another little program/tool useful. I use it every single day - it's a clipboard extender called Yankee Clipper 3 (that's the freeware version). The program holds in memory all the things you've copied to your clipboard for however long (the free version has limitations, I think - like maybe 200 things or so). Then you just double click on the item in YC3's list and that item is brought to the forefront of your clipboard and you can paste it again (and again and again).

You can bring the program up by ALT-CTRL-Y, or it resides in your system tray, or you can just bring up the stuff in memory with ALT-CTRL-V.

What I do when I download something and forgot where it went - go back to the website and start to download it all over again - just make sure you notice where the con-fuser is going to put it...don't actually download it again - just pay attention this time! (I do that all the time!).
