Pups, Mitch, Pups, why would floppy hats scare the pups in there were cows in the judging area? LAY OFF THE WINE WOMAN!

I for one believe that by the kids being involved with 4-H and FFA type clubs builds better young adults!

Hey, on Omlette In A Baggie Morning, I'll contribute Egg McMarlins - the signature breakfast sandwich of The Blue Marlin Resort...in addition to the Carolyn Coolers, of course. We'll just make it a veritable Breakfast Boo-Fay!!!!

There might be a secret handshake after Oct...who knows, depending upon how many toasts get made to adventures and dreams.....

Vickie, Thanks for translating for Mitch.... in her campfire drinkie confusion, she was thinking of Cedar's attending and sharing pics of the livestock/cow shows in NY......

I can't speak regarding the cows... but the dogs were very well behaved and fairly obedient  ...and all the young people were well behaved.and polite.....that is why I like the assignments....

I love imaginary campfires and drinks....so much easier on the liver...... :P

Now who's playing the City Girl?
Even I know cows can't bark!
Timmy would have died in that well.

BirdbyBird wrote:Ah the traditions this TN GTG can establish...... I can hardly wait. The required celebration of retirement...anyones at any time past or future....have to keep the dream alive for all..... A traditional tribal drink named after a southern TN goddess, the mystery foods dedicated to the road travel gods, the campfire dance (without bar stools per Soos' recommendation), a sacred goblet, the secret handshake..... We so bad.... but fun

Just got back from standing out in the sun at the Darke County Fair for 6 hours judging 4-H obedience..... I remembered to wear sun screen and a small hat this time....large floppy hats could scare pup pups..... Wonderful young people... as Cedar observed..... there are many talented, well mannered young people in this world, especially when you are working a 4-H show site. I especially enjoy watching the Junior Fairboard members, who play leadership roles in planning and running the various project areas and livestock shows. Lots of good life skills being demonstrated.....

Now all my own pup pups are sniffing the ankles and feet and trying to figure out why I would come home with all these good smells and not have taken them to the fair?

I am not moving far off the couch tonight...keeping the feet up and resting....

Secret handshake, hey we used to have one of those in Rainbow Girls. I think I still remember it, we could modify it and adopt it as the official TN Flamingo RV Women's handshake. Gosh I wish Belle were going to be there.

Mitch asks:
Cows have obedience trials???

Sure, Mitch! They can learn these commands:

Give milk!

Poop!

Don't poop now!

Stand up!

Lie down!

Don't kick!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
