Mitch, I'm not sure I could find it in my heart to have you sacrifice yourself like that. I will certainly help you out on making sure the concoction is worthy of it's name. Yes, I replied to the post in the wrong place so I guess one of the administrators will move it over here.

Goodness gracious, this is about all of the TGT that I can take! "Ya'll" just keep on and on and on making it sound better and more enticing each time! I'm just a little bit "jellwus" but do plan to be there in spirit. And speaking of spirit, Carolyn, my BFF, please do have a drink or two for me!! It matters not what...you know what I like and don't like!

Now wait just a cotton-pickin' minute here, Mitchie girl! In my humble opinion, the 'sacrificial lamb' should have experience being a 'tester' with fire-dancing experience! Oh WOE that I will not be able to be there this year to celebrate the retirement or the GTG, but just you wait 'til next year! I will be sure to hone my 'Mimosa testing' skills to a sharp edge that will leave no room for other would-be sacrificial creatures!

Dang! Sure do wish I could be there for this shindig. If I retire NOW----sigh. Just a fleeting thought. One more year of getting income twice a week and paring down my IOUs should do it just fine. But a year is so looooooooong!

Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Hey, I've had another great idea - next year - Carolyn Cooler Dueling Drinkers!

This next year will go soooo fast. It'll be here before you know it. Well, and then, we'll have to come up with a Sooz Snoozer - one sip and you'll be bedridden...or a Rib Wrecker (and we all know what that's about...). Anyway, we wish you were coming, too. :(

Ava, I'm sorry you didn't get that extra job!

Truly, Truly - I am willing to do it for you. Please don't worry. I'll be fine and we'll all be better off for my sacrifice. Now, where'd I put that last bottle of champagne?

 We're gonna be all talked out by the time we finally get together! NOT!

Lift update: Spoke with FL company this evening. He had final price for custom door from Lippert Components, added with price of lift and total.... wait a minute, I had the price of the lift $ cheaper than he had. Thank goodness I had documented lift number along with his price from previous conversations. He said he must have made a mistake in the quote, I said oh, well that was your quote. He consented & agreed to the original charge, so I went back and offered an incentive to split the difference if it was absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably COMPLETELY installed and rolling down the highway by the end of Sept. because we had reservations in TN for Oct. He agreed! So that's where we stand as of tonight! :D

Okay, now, as things slowly look better for us being there, I now feel comfortable offering to make a big pot of gumbo for the potluck night, if yall eat gumbo, that is. I could make a chicken and sausage or shrimp and crabmeat or shrimp and sausage, whatever yall want. I don't do oysters in my gumbo, because I don't like oysters. I thought maybe since Mitch's seafood chowder is down the toilet (literally  ) this could take the place if yall liked it. So, what's the vote?
