Hmmmmm...I'm thinkin' a nice Possum Kebob, or maybe Chinese style - Pounded Possum On A Stick. Lots of potential here. I say go ahead and sic 'er...

Pounded might work. I'd sure have to pound it before bagging it!!
Turned Nicky out for a few minutes; no critters tonight but there is still lots of time left.

I think you can cook Possum just like the other mystery meat.....

This thread has me spewing my coffee all over my keyboard again this morning! I am laughing so hard!! What a wonderful group of women you have going to this GTG! I, like Ava, am so jealous that I can't go! I sure hope another one gets planned for next year after I am retired so I can go, too!

Pounded possum sounds absolutely scrumptious!! Although I might prefer pine cushion horse ovaries, myself----made from porcupine road kill!

:) You all will never stop laughing the entire time you are there. I can't wait to see the pics.

Hommie wants to know if there is a place in the campground to fish. We saw there was a boat launch, but wasn't sure about fishing. That would keep him occupied as he's not real sure about alllllll these women! I'm not worried about him, he usually just flashes those baby blues, acts helpless and has women spoiling him left and right.

I clicked resize and changed it to medium then small and it still keeps coming out this huge size, somebody can tell me why it's not working and I will fix it.

WOW, Vickie! Hommie sure is a handsome sunuvagun, isn't he??!! No wonder he gets a lot of attention from women!

You know, if you don't get the lift in time, that all those women would be more than happy to assist you two in getting him safely in and out of rig, don't you?? I know I sure would, healing ribs, and all!

If there's water there's got to be fishing to my way of thinking. Only 2 reasons to go to a lake is swimmin' and fishin'!! :D Since we're backed up to the water shouldn't be to hard to get Homme all set up and happy. Guess it doesn't matter to a guy if there's even fish in the water, it's the idea of it. Had a BF a while back that fished all of the time and I'd ask him if he caught anything and he said if you actually caught fish it would be called catching, not fishing!!

My idea of fishing is a cane pole, bobber, no hook, thermos of coffee and a good book!

YOU have to clean them??? No, no, no...you need to 'splain to the dear man that that's not the way it works! Oh wait...come to think of it, the few times DH went fishing and actually caught something I had to clean them. Something's wrong with this picture but not sure what! Learned to clean fish when I got my first pole at 5 yrs old...rule in the house was if you caught it, you clean it. Evidently our guys didn't learn the rules!

Wow, we are sure are growing. The more the merrier is what I say! There is great fishing in the lake; small mouth & crappie. TN/ has a Road Kill Bill and a song was written about that so we would be perfectly legal to get some road kill and cook it. Not to say anyone would eat it...

Can't wait to meet every one.

I think Fernie & Bash are coming by on potluck night. I have a gf who lives in the neighborhood who is coming by.

Sarah, is your sister coming with you?

If I can work it out, are any of you interested in having your rig weighed? I'm working on something but if you aren't interested I'll let it drop. No cost.

Great! It'll be nice to see Fernie again, haven't seen her in 4 yrs.

About the weighing....does it mean moving Hope and having to back in again? :o

..

I mis-posted this to the wrong thread earlier...it really belongs here and is in reference to Carolyn's Retirement!

In Celebration of SunshincruiserTN's upcoming retirement - I think we should have, during our TN GTG, either a

1) Mimosa Morning

or

2) Bloody Mary Morning

or

3) Carolyn's Cooler Afternoon Cocktails

(a Carolyn's Cooler will be a mix of champagne, orange juice, and pineapple juice, served in a tall glass filled with beautiful crystal-clear ice...and I would be willing to sacrifice myself, in the spirit of the occasion and for the benefit of the others, to mix and sample these three liquids until the mixed proportions are blended perfectly to be served to the GTG members...that is the sacrifice I would do for YOU!)

Thoughts?
