TN GTG??

Yayyyyy Vickie's comin'! I'm sure we all have our fingers, toes, eyes and whatever else we can cross for you that you get the lift! Guess I'm out of the loop or missed something....lift for what and on your vehicle or trailer?

Sharon, Hommie/HomeDude is in a wheelchair. Spinal Cord Injury in 1988. We are having a wheelchair lift put in the TH so that we don't have to use an ATV winch to get him in and out of the TH ramp, (it can be really steep). They are making a short/wide door to match the rv and should take 3 weeks, then door and lift can be installed. The sooner they get started the sooner it will be done and we can come and go without making sure somebody else is around to assist us. We're reallly excited about the TN GTG!

Man, that's a bummer, but I have to give both of you huge kudos for not letting it stop you from getting out and having fun. I have a friend in my jeep club that has ms, confined to a wheelchair, and they put a lift in their motorhome and still go jeepin'. She's been bugging her DH to figure out a way to put a seat on a quad that will keep her in, but he's afraid she'll roll it and not be able to get out from underneath it. Sure hope you get it all taken care of and can meet us in Tn!! All extremities that can be crossed are crossed and will stay that way until you get it!! Big hug to you!

Well Sistah's,,, Unfortunately Site 41 is no longer available, I just double checked on it just to make sure.
The unfortunate news is for YALL cause I RESERVED IT!!!! WHOOOOPPPPPEEEEEE

There is still the possibility that if the lift isn't installed in the RV, we'll have to cancel, but we're crossing our fingers and hoping that it's completed. Just didn't want to loose the only handicap site available for those dates. Thank you Tina for leaving it open.

Hey, Bluepinecones and Redetotry - if you think you're both going to attend, why don't you get in touch with each other about hotel choice?
And I'd be pleased to include both of you in any meals we eat at camp - no need to be shy around me!

Yipppeeee! Oh terrific, Vicki, that will be wonderful if you all are able to make it. Same goes for me for those of you staying in a hotel. I'm sure there will be enough for everyone and you can feel free to use anything that I have for prep but nothing is an imposition. OMG, this is just going to be too much fun.

Looks to me like it should maybe be in either yours or mine, Mitch, since there's 3 of us in a cluster there. Feel free to use my space, I like lots of company....not that any one ever comes to SoCal to see me.

Our site is also available for the gathering, I was thinking that maybe when we get there, just see what one looks like it would work best, since we really haven't seen. But then again,,,, Mitch is gonna cheat and go to her site early just to practice backing in. And yes, anything I have as far as food, supplies, etc. is offered to anyone who needs it, I'm used to camping with family, we all pass everything around and somehow end up with our own dishes when we get home

When I posted that second map, with all 3 of us in a row, I thought it was the perfect place - lots of room together and doesn't appear to be backing up to anything! OHBOY...

Now, why did you go and notice I hadn't mentioned that pesky groundhog again...
Oh, by the way, I'm bringing a lovely stew with lots of bold, strong flavors.
Or maybe some nice tacos - same flavors, but with cheese.
Or some stuffed green peppers - same, with rice.
The possibilities are endless.
