Not new just lazy!!

Hi all, well I used to be on the other women's forum and enjoy it immensely where I got to meet all the great gals on there. My computer went kaput, and I was out of service for awhile. When I returned I guess it was right when you gals started this forum, I was missing some of the gals and questioned "where is everyone",when I was told about this forum, I kind of felt disloyal to leave the gals on the first forum , so my thoughts were , just don't sign in , so I didn't!! Well now I see All the great gals are now here!!! I don't know what happened and I don't really care, let's just keep this forum going like it has been, helping and caring for each other, okay enough of that . Well I have been living in my motor home since May. I sold my house and moved down closer to my family . Since the market is in such a turmoil I didn't get what I needed for my house ........but ......on the other hand I could buy something that I couldn't have affored before all this mess. I made a offer for a townhouse that was in a "short sale" the only problem is, it takes soooooooooo long, right now I'm waiting 2months and am told it will be another 2 months before I get in !! I'm thankful I have my motor home to live in , I'm at a resort that sells campsites ,a friend of mine owns one and has graciously let me live here until he has a renter coming here in Oct. My family is 15 mins away and I could live with any one of my 4 daughters , but until I really need to , I 'm very content to stay in my home. My sister also lives near by and she is the one who goes with me when we want to travel , so all in all I'm a pretty lucky lady and to top it off , I'm now a member of this forum and enjoy all the things it has to offer. Thanks for all the "welcomes" I do appreciate it. One of the ladies I used to talk to was signed Molly, she has a dog and cat and last time I was on she was located in and around Oregon I think she might have been leaning toward giving the full time rv'ing up, but was still doing it. Does this sound familar to anyone .I just interested in hoping she is doing okay, she is a really sweet gal ! Betty

Yeah, on July 23, Mollysmom told us she was done and was going to move back home to Iowa and was selling her trailer and truck. She said she wasn't enjoying RVing anymore.

She has her truck and 5th wheel up for sale. She hasn't posted in a while so don't know where she stands, other than she was workkamping in Wisconsin until ????? Thanks again, sorry to hear about Trudy (Mollysmom), well she got it out of her system ,different strokes for different folks. Since living in my motor home for the last few months , I've learned alot about myself and this lifestyle. First (if I had the money ) I'd prefer to travel, not stay in one spot too long and I think I would like to have someone to travel with me. My sister and I travel together pretty well and that make it fun. We have the same interests so not too much conflict. I've learned that I'm not a too wimpy which I thought I was , living alone is a freedom I've never felt before .I married coming from my parents home had 6 children , married for 47 yrs , widowed 3 yrs ago , so having my own room is something I'm just now getting used to and enjoying. I've had to do things on my own , which I surprised myself , is okay!! This has got to be one of the most beautiful ways to spend living your life. When my husband and I traveled , we had a Airstream '87 Excella , now that was traveling in style . We crisscrossed this country from N.Y to CA, and as far as I'm concerned there is no other way to go. I'm currently looking to buy a house in Jensen Beach, FL. but will keep my motorhome close by , for when I get the urge to get on the road!! Talk to you all again.... soon. Betty
