good morning ladies
jumpin on the puter real quick and then I gotta go. Had a busy weekend sorting
through papers and boxes, it really needed to be done and am still amazed at
the stuff I think might someday be important but then decided it wasn't and
tossed it. I suppose that is something that will never change. Worked on my
sewing machine, cleaned and oiled it but it still has no life in it. Have no idea
what got broke or jammed when it got dropped in the move. I'm thinking I may
end up buying a new machine, but of course thats not gonna happen anytime
soon.
Coffee is so good this morning, no time for breakfast now, maybe a banana
later on just to keep the grumbles down until lunch. Have a great day and I'll
catch up on the storms on the news at work, hope everyone down that way is
safe.

Don't drop your coffee cup...yes it's me. I'm always reading but seldom post. Sitting here this morning waiting for my friend to pick me up and take me to an orthopedic surgeon. The first weekend in August we had our family reunion campout and I was walking into the camper...had both feet planted and turned at the waist to take a bowl from DH and my knee popped. And NO it wasn't even Happy Hour yet! I can sit, stand and lay comfortably but walking is extremely painful. I've had x-rays and an MRI. Even went to a chiropractor to see if it might be out of place. The radiologist read the MRI on Thursday and thought I had a longitudinal tear in the meniscus and my GP made an appointment with the surgeon. On Friday the radiologist reneged on the first opinion and called back that there was a hair line fracture on the tibia. Four doctors at my clinic looked at the x-rays and while they readily admit they are not radiologists none of them can see it. So hopefully I find out something today. I'm tired of the pain, have to have a wheelchair at work to get around because there is too much walking. So that's my story. I've been enjoying all your posts and pictures!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Can we say, "oooooo" I often think of the things that happen in an instant and change everything.... Hope, you can at least get an idea of what really happened in and around your knee! The not being able to walk around thing is definitely a change in life style. Not much planned around here today, might be able to get some reading done..... the dogs will be disappointed in that. They like the more active plans. I will make the run down to my step mother's nursing home to pick up her mail from her apt and take it to her later in the afternoon after delivery time. It is just sort of wait and see with her. Not sure if she will make it back to her independent apt or will need assisted living. She really doesn't want to give up her own place...sigh.... I worry more and more about her ability to keep track of all the details of taking care of herself. She would be another accident waiting to happen on her own.....but she still has the right to decide..... Need to get a little more done before it gets too hot and sticky..... At some point the fans just don't make any difference anymore...... Guess I can always head out to the Baby Bus and turn on the air conditioner. At least I could read in comfort! Good adventures all around. And rest for those that played all weekend :D

But we are members in both groups! OK,.... if you don't want us to post what some of us are doing then you will just have to wonder,....

I arrived home early afternoon after a side trip to Plattsburgh for eye appointment for new glasses and lunch with friends from the bluegrass circle. Was a blistering 89° when I got here,... I know to some of you that's not much. But for us here in the north country it's coupled with humidity and horrible. All in what you are used to I guess. We get about a week-two weeks of this a year, so I guess we should just hush up and take it, eh?

Soosie was a wonderful hostess,.... any of you WomenRV folks that are single think about joining us at http://www.openroadssingles.com . Just a friends, "birds of a feather" group, not encouraging any dating.

OK, it's 6 p.m.....well past coffee hour,... so here's to supper hour! :D
