Cherry Hill Campground

Good morning ladies! I'm sitting in my lounge chair at Cherry Hill Campground in Maryland. Visit it here [url]www.cherryhillpark.com/url]

Daughter is at a Physical Therapy conference this weekend in Rockville MD, and after adding up airfare, hotel, taxi and meals, she said "why don't you take me in the camper?" So I did!

I had heard great things about this campground and it lives up to its reputation. It is a scrupulously clean, well run, upscale campground. It has bus service into DC which is perfect for sightseeing (I'm not doing any because, after all, it's AUGUST and HUMID). I'm just chilling out under the shade, drinking my tea, and surfing the web.

This is my first trip in my "Escape Pod" with another human (left the poodle at home, that was one body too many in my Roadtrek). I'm liking my baby more and more. Daughter says she likes it too.

Leslie, I've never been there but have also heard nice things about it. Maybe some day I will get there, as it is only about an hour from my house! Another one I want to stay at sometime is Harper's Ferry KOA. Then I could add West Virginia to my map!

Hi Leslie,.... what a coincidence,... last evening around the campfire here at the GTG for ORS at Soosie's Pete was telling about that very campground and how convenient and nice it was. Certainly looks like it has a great reputation. Glad you are having fun with your escape pod,.... now to get you over to the Adirondacks! Would love to have you visit!

Beautiful CG....and the rates reflect it. A bit pricey, but I may be wrong. ;)

my daughters and I were talking about Cherry Hill campground today as well.....but this one is located about 15 miles north of Salt Lake City UT...and a very nice place to go it used to be a orchard now if you are there when the cherries are ripe enjoy as well as with any other fruit....then they have a pie hut with yummy pies
So we looked and realized that there is another campground named Cherry Hill

Yes, it is more than I like to pay, but you have to consider its location right next to DC. Even so, the 3 night stay was less than one night's hotel room.

Today, I'm hanging out at Rockville City Park while I'm waiting to pickup daughter at 2;30, then we head home.

Hi Leslie, glad you are enjoying Cherry Hill in your Class B. Sorry you had to leave the BIG poodle at home! We've been to Cherry Hill several years ago. Great location and methods to get into town. Have you considered attending the Gypsy Journal rally in Ohio next month? I think you would enjoy it. Tina (BirdbyBird) and I were both there last year and found it very informative. I'm hoping to go again this year.

Enjoy your Cherry Hill visit!
