WELCOME, SYLVIA, and CONGRATULATIONS on your first solo camping gig!

I've noticed that all the women in this group have a habit of NOT sitting around doing nothing feeling sorry, and you will surely fit right in! Your husband had to have been a wonderful, caring man who loved you enough to give you wings and the strength to use them. I hope to retire and take to the road or go south in the winters by next year....am really looking forward to it, but also a bit scared to set out alone. However the fear won't keep me home any more than it did you!
