Tis Wednesday...all day....Morning Everyone !... Yes, I'm running a tad bit late..but it's hard when ya get surprise company and they don't leave till midnight...Yikes...even with hints of yawning..finally I just said.."Sorry, but I gotta go to bed"... LOL Sometimes ya gotta do things, even though it leaves others gasping ,...so hence we is on a mad dash.. jump out of bed and make a run for the door...all 4 critters are giving ya the evil eye...oh yeah.. I'm sure you've all have one of those mornings...it's wild !!!....Now let's see.. what's happening with all you Sistah's...

Asirimarco (Carol and Bill ) had a strange experience.. Yes, it just followed them home! Nice Carol..LOL Yep ..see Bill is off to work on creating a "New" look...geeez we could use his talents couldn't we Sistahs... we'll definitely keep a watch on that column..Now, they have 2..to hit the open road and go where Alfa couldn't.. bet ya gonna get better gas mileage too !

Almostthere ..(Lenora) finally her toaster oven will be at her home.. Goodness Lenora, I ordered mine from Amazon and it got her pronto...tell us again .. Where did ya order it from ? Can't wait to hear how you like it...Crossing your T's....

MrsSissy.. put up a recipe.. well..let's just say.. It's different.. but then again different strokes for different folks ! check it out.. LOL

As for Beth.. well I decided to put up my Bears this morning cause ya know how she loves her "Bears"...Beth..this one's for you !... LOL...and she's heading back into the USA...

Avalen (Ava) is back on her work schedule and yes, Ava.. I was surprised to see you on line yesterday morning with me.. guess you were thinking of "Can't be Late ...(you know the Rabbit) ..LOL

Cedar put up more "Pictures" as she a good Sistah.. and even got a judging assignment..aaah but I like that one.. with the little beginners ...no one goes home with out a ribbon...

NaSoosie..(Soos) Is as busy as a Bee..yeppers..getting all the oars in order...and in a few days.. her place will be busy...Hey say hello to Liz and Carol...Pictures .. Pictures and Gossip !!!

Mitch is also getting ready for her Sisterhood...Mitch I know you're place will be High Anxiety !! isn't it fun when ya can really cut loose..LOL all that giggling.. goodness...it does the heart and soul wonders...

Carold (Carol and Bob) are in Colorado...and even getting in a game of Tennis..gotta love the retirement life Oh and news of a 7th GK being added... Congratulations. ! My oh my your family is growing..

Oh, before I forget.. We have another "Newbie"..Welcome Sylviageeslin (Sylvia) you have now joined the Sistahs.. we are a fantastic family ....we just love meeting Sistahs from all over and yes, Nosy just don't cut it.. we is at the Top of our Game here.....Make yourself at home.. As far as support Sylvia.. we are the best.. and yes, you'll find that a lot of the Sistahs have been in your situation.. and by themselves with this critters.. Hang in there.... I'm sure there are a few that are near by.. We do have GTG too..

Ok.. I'm outa here it...a run to the kitchen.. as the Hubby is heading down the stairs.. You remember I told ya.. it's like Dagwood Bumpstead...get out of his way.. it's a mad dash... and me running late..uh oh collision gonna be in the works..

Coffee pot is perking and Kettle is Whistlin... Oj and Cola is ready too... Oh anyone that wants to bring goodies all are excepted...I have Corn Muffins and Biscotti.. I'll be pulling out of the oven Plum Buckle..oh my that's tasty..so grab a chair sit a spell.. and tell us What's on your agenda...

Good morning Zeee and Sisters!

Well, I sat there for 7 hours yesterday and had 7 little kids bring their things in. I sure hope that it's just a cycle and that 4-H isn't on the fade. Since kids have internet and texting on cell phones ... the real activities seem to be less interesting for them. But what fun i had,... My favorite item was milk weed pods made into an angel form and spray painted gold to hang on Christmas tree. The most original was a slate with a painting of a horse,.... by a 5 y/o.. a real sweetie. Then there was the smart azz little boy,.... and the truthful little boy who said he didn't do a thing about the flowers, just cut them out of his grandmothers garden... haha... out of the mouthes of babes! all in all, it was fun and I'd give my time again, if asked.

So today I go back to be at the cattle show ring for the grandchildren's time. My oldest grandson is working full time this summer so it will seem funny without him there. Time marches on.

Wing-dinger of a thunder storm last night.... ....and the weather man has us with another sometime this afternoon...so, in the mean time it's humid with the temps going up again....The 5er's AC is sure getting a work out.... Ernie's out early to mow the lawns....I so worry about the air getting "too heavy" for him, but he does have his inhalers with him.....

Okay, looks like I need to run the broom and sweeper around here today...so will go for now...
Brought the Orange sweet rolls to Barbzeee's table...Enjoy!!

Morning!
We are finally getting some rain!! We've set yet another record for the longest without rain. The first was triple digit temps 8 days in a row. It's been a weird summer for weather, for sure! It's also still very humid, something we don't generally have to think about.
Zeee I ordered my B&D toaster right from the B&D site. It was the only place I found the under the cabinet style offered. I'm about to go check and see if it's made it down this way, probably into Portland, then Vancouver after that.
Enjoying my morning coffee. I"ll have my steel cut oats here soon! Lost 3 lbs eating more fiber. Made some protein bars with the oats, too. Yum!

PS waiting for word on a B for sale on craigslist. A 1998 with less than 400 actual miles on it! Said grandparents bought it and then didn't use it. It's bright BLUE inside. but the cabinets are a nice oak. Didn't mention a generator and the bathroom is iffy. We'll see how it goes. No hurries!

Good morning to you, my "beary" best friends from the Great Smoky mts. of New Hampshire. Well, as foggy as it is, you'd think you were in the Smoky Mts. We had a great weather day for our "cousin" reunion Monday, and good weather is predicted for the gtg at Soo's this weekend. In between, we have to have those rain showers. Tomorrow, if weather cooperates, my brother & I & his grandson will take a hike on the "Tunnel Brook trail," a relatively easy 6 mile trail in the White Mts. It passes several beaver ponds, where gs hopes to collect info & photos for a boy scout project. Looking for amphibians...frogs & salamanders.

Slow morning reading and checking e-mail and checking in on the SM in the nursing home. My mission os to find her a book holder and a magnifying glass to assist her in her reading. The eye doc on Monday said that there really wasn't any change and her vision was as good as could be expected....sigh...she does enjoy reading so much. Off now to Walmart to get the oil changed and then to the glass place to get my front windshield replaced......(The attack of the arrant kayak!) The dogs have just intimidated the duke Energy guy to much to come into the yard and check the meter. Silly me didn't really process the faint honk until Stuart barked from inside and I got up to see the truck pulling out. Guess there will be an estimate bill this month! But, thanks for the tip...I now know to go directly to the BandD site.... Sometimes I am slow on these things. I did finally track down a small flat LCD 13 in TV with DVD that works off both Ac or DC. I was having difficulty finding a 15 in and when I would measure my space keep thinking that I really didn't want to give up that much room. Already have the mount in.... enjoy the day, enjoy the journey......

GOOOOOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!!!!

Yep I made it on before noon 'est'. HA! Gonna be a super short one cause it's 8:33am and I really need to get my butt on the clock and to work. Blech!

I have tried a couple of times to get on line to post and say "HI" but of course as I've said the internet connection sucks here. Really pisses me off. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I came down early this morn to get online and check out workamper.com but the dang this booted me and then when I did get on it was so slow I couldn't stand it. How the heck we are suppose to find winter jobs with on-site housing that allows dogs when the net wont co-operate is beyond me. ~sigh~

Hope ya all are doing super fine! We're not to bad here. I'm feeling pretty good actually expect a bad sniffy nose and sneezing. Some days there is just something in the air that drives my nose around the bend. It is bugging me as I have never had a problem with allergies. Some days I'm just fine and others? Forget it.

I just know I've missed at least a couple of Birthdays and of course I see that we gained a newbie. I hate not being able to keep up with ya'll. I sure do miss checking out what all the Sistahs have been up to.

Soos? Your ? rumble in the Adirondacks sounds awesome. If we were still in the north we would be sure to be there. But now it's just a tad bit far to go for a weekend wild! LOL

Ok, it's time I got it in gear. "Time to make the beds." Oh my poor back.

Good Morning all! Haven't had a chance to read posts yet, but stopped in here first. Good to see Echo got a chance to post, hope they can find a place to go where it's good for her health.

No update on Home Dude's lift, Zeee. The company I called last week in Pensacola FL (spoke with owner) said he would gather rv specs, etc. to see what would work. I called his office Monday after lunch, they gave me his cell number, called, he said he would be back in office around 4 and was waiting to hear back from a company that was designing a lift for TT/TH and would fax me a pic of what he had on that. He said that because it wasn't a vehicle type structure, they had to allow for weight distribution, jacks, etc. Well, I didn't hear from him, understanding that he may have got caught up in something else, so I waited and called Tues. around 3:30, spoke with lady I had spoke to when I originally called, she remembered me and said that owner was with someone and would call me back when through. Well never heard from him. I get so discouraged when I don't have any idea what's going on with this. It's like when we flooded and had to beg contractors to come work, everyone was still rebuilding after Hur. Rita, I hate that, I said never again would I beg someone to take my money and do a halfazz job. Well, that's my pity party for the day,,, and yep, I'll take some cheese with that whine!

What kind of Wi-Fi do they have at the lodge? Is it satellite by any chance? Reason I ask is the only internet connection we could get last summer up in the Trinity Alps was satellite. When it worked, it worked okay. However, there were so many times it didn't. Never could figure out the reason, either. Let's hope yours improves a little.
