.

Some friends were here in late July for their summer visit to our house - The Blue Marlin Resort and Lounge...here is a video he made and posted on youtube...it'll give you a good idea of what to expect if you come for a visit at The Blue Marlin!!!

PS: I'm the short, fat, gray-headed older woman.
George is the skinny, bald old guy.
The other two are our friends.
They live half the year on Maui, hence the hawaiian music!

Beautiful place! It brought out the mid-west farm-girl in me as I see corn in the fields surrounding your place. Love the smell of a cornfield after a rain! Thanks for sharing!

That's neat, but why did they cut out the part where you do the hula dance? Very nice place, Mitch.

NO hula - couldn't get a grass skirt big enough!
And thank you.

Loved the sunset....... It lower my blood pressure just sitting here in Ohio and looking at the screen..... I could hear crickets...

Mitch, I was wondering if your friends are in Hawaii now, with that hurricane headed that way?

They'll head to Maui in early September. Back to Illinois just before Christmas and then head out again in March or April. Tough life, eh? Their personal condo (they own several on Maui) is maybe 20-30 feet from the beach and the entire front of their place is wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor windows! It's absolutely awesome. She cracks me up - after living the hard life on Maui for all those months, she insists on staying a few nights at a 5-star hotel on Oahu before heading back to Illinois - ya know, to rest up and be pampered!!! YIKES! I should have such problems!!!

Maybe the TN GTG should be held at your house since it has a pool.

Hey, I wouldn't mind at all (in case you weren't kidding)!
But we just have 2 - 30A circuits (no 50A), 2 - water hook-ups, and only 1 spare septic tank.
And by early October, The Blue Marlin Lounge is closed! :(
The Resort (house) is open, though.
