Guess they call that cleanin' and air shocker...yikes..

Anyway.. I hopped over to our Beth's Blog and she did post..but is going to move to another place so she can catch up her Blog...but she did take that..LuLu Belle tour...so give her a day and pop over she might have some of it updated..

Nasoosie..(Soos) is pickin them berries again.. oh yeah.. Soos seems it doesn't take much to make you happy and full ???? like Vickie ... that would just be a taste..for me LOL but if you come around me.. goodness you'll explode...cause I tend to make a lot of things.. and like any good Italian.. mangiare... and now you and Cedar are getting ready to head out for that BlueGrass Festival...

Man, we sure had a HUGE blow yesterday evening! The wind blew ALL the furniture off the front porch, and that's some heavy furniture! Tennessee weather sure is weird!

Zeeeeee, I wanted to ask you how are you doing now that's it a while after your surgery?
I sure hope you're back to 100%

Well, off to think about breakfast. We have a group of friends in for the next couple of days. Then next week, it's the annual visit I most look forward to all year - The Sisterhood. Bunch of women hang around for five days, and eat, drink and giggle. We pretend George is our 27-year-old naked pool boy, but he mostly just tries to stay out of our way! (He understands what's in his best interest...). The food and the liquor flow freely. (to be perfectly honest, we don't drink much at all after the first afternoon...but we do nap...best part is the laughing until your sides hurt!!)

I hope everyone has a great day with calm, lovely weather...

Good Morning All - well we are home - such as it is. Finally got the Internet up and running this a.m.
Had an absolutely terrifying trip home yesterday - got caught in that storm that passed through. Came home to no power and this a.m. have no water????????
But all is fine otherwise. Will write more about trip and last couple of days on road later.

well good morning everybody!!!!
back to the regular grind today, woohoo! So today we practice our bus runs, check all
the stops for hazards, make sure times are accurate, clean all the summer dust out,
get our parking assignment, it does change from year to year but usually only by a
slot or two. They also don't want our buses in the yard between 9 and 10 so we all
have to leave and then come back. Don't know whats up with that but they said they
were doing "something" hmmm, will be interesting to see what it is they are doing.
My guess is to paint new numbers on slots, new stripes? Haven't got a clue. Its also
picture ID day, so gotta make sure I'm presentable for that "show all" picture. They
always turn out like drivers license pictures, never any good no matter what you do.

The medicine is finally kicking in for Bandit, he seems better, however he still just
sat outside the door waiting for me to come and pick him up to come up the stairs.
I will gladly do that. Definately gives me hope he has a few more months so I can
put his cremation on my budget as I absolutely hate to borrow from my daughter.

Gotta get that last cup of coffee in me now and get ready to go, need an extra
5 minutes to stop for gas and then go greet all the drivers.

Yep, and I'm here,too, this morning..... Am still holding down the fort at the kids house, baby-sitting, but will be heading back to "Home Base" in the woods this afternoon..... you all know how the internet connection is there , so I'll try to post when I can....sometimes, I'm just lucky I can get in and read..... .......Yesterday, was hot and sunny, but the weather man has a storm heading our way....oh, joy.... more rain....

Okay, have a load of towels in the washer here....5 people sure do use alot of towels... and they need to go into the dryer...so I'll stop for now...

Good morning all. Well, woke up this am and found myself in Jackson-use to be Jackson Hole, WY. Somewhere along the way our compass changed from SE to just plain East and here we are. The weather is definitely cooler than the triple digits we had in Oregon. Gonna be checking out the Tetons today and are staying at least til Saturday unless the clouds of change come over us. LOL Even found a public tennis court, so I'm . Somehow, the last time we played DH won more games than me for the 1st time, so I've had to throw down the glove

Welcome to all the new members. Nice to see our group growing. You'll just add more flavor and hopefully someone will be able to keep Mitch and Vickie in check.

Well it is cloudy and cool this am. They are saying it will rain. Haven't had much of that the last two months. Need to get out in the yard and get some things put away before it rains. Kodie has books and tea party going on outside for a few days now. Normally we clean it up as soon as she is done, but with no rain in the forecasts we have let her keep it all set up.

So I guess today we will be doing some outside work. Then I might try and get to one of the bathrooms.

The playground is coming along. We did hit an snag last night. A great big rock in the way...so we are hoping that the HOA maintenance can take the bobcat over today and get it out.

Good evening. We are sitting in a KOA in Lexington, VA...the Natural Bridge KOA. It's a good stop-over on our trip down...about halfway. Back is feeling somewhat better, with enough Aleve anything is possible! Don't know what I did to it, but after cleaning my kitchen countertops Friday night, it got bad real quick! Anyway, I've decided that I really need to train GD to help me get things loaded up in this RV if she wants to continue traveling with me! Not that we were in any hurry this morning to get down the road, but I shouldn't have to do it all myself. She tends to be a little on the lazy side...sure hope I can chase that lazy bone outta her body!

It is raining here; has been for about the past hour. Glad that the tunder and lightening passed earlier; now the dogs can settle down. They get all worked up whenever it storms anymore. I think Bailey is about deaf, and now that she "feels" the thunder instead of hearing it, I think it scares her.

Hope to get to our destination around 4ish tomorrow. The campground I stayed at last year doesn't have anything available for this weekend. They don't take reservations, so I called them when we stopped this evening. So, I called another one and will stay there instead. I've never been to this one, so don't really know what to expect. They have a creek to swim in, so it couldn't be too bad!

I'm beat so I'm gonna call it a night.
