no wii here. expensive,... (said the woman who just bought a brand new camper! )

And I know me,... I would get it and then not use it. I'm on the move at work every day and although I could use even more activity I just don't thing that would be it. Like Carold in the winter I like to put on music and dance away all alone in the livingroom. Just free style stuff. That not only gives me movement but the music is a good mood lifter if needed.

I HAVE considered Dancin' to The Oldies----but don't think I want oldies THAT old! I love 60s and 70s music, and FAST ones!

Now a question, so I don't sound like a dolt when I inquire about Wii in a store....how do you pronounce that word???

Is it Wye? Wee-i (short i sound) Wee-eye Wye-eee Wi-i (two short Is) Wee -eee Or just WHAT??? It's a very weird word----or is there no pronunciation? Do you just call it a W-I-I ??? (As in double-u eye eye)
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Wii rhymes with ME (as in you and ME). If you get it, you make a player/character for yourself and it's called a Mii (pronounced just like ME).

Hi Seeria, Thanks for you post, it's always good to have new people share their stories with us. I'll say welcome here and urge you to go over to the introduction thread and tell us a little bit (or a lot) about yourself and where you are in the stages of rv dreaming/reality! That way everyone can give you a great big proper welcome!

Ok gals I'm back, Dan has lost almost 45 lbs now from the Wii Fit and also rideing his dang bike all over . Yes we have it in the motorhome and every morning he religiously does 2 hrs of Yoga, Strength, Aerobics, boxing to the Wii. He looks better than the first day I met him 18 yrs ago!!! He looks so much better, feels better and because he has dropped all the weight he can ride longer distances on his bike.
When we are in Yuma we have it in the casita.

Getting me to be constant on it is a challenge  I'd rather be dancing!!!

Wii does have the dance Revolution mat and CD but trust me it is geared for teenagers and hate the music....I'm giving mine to my 17 yrs old granddaughter.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away

Problem is, my son hooked it up in the house for me, so I don't even know if I could figure out how to hook it up in the RV. I tend to be electronically challenged! And, I did invest in the fit and the board, but find I spend most of my time playing tennis on the dang thing. Maybe some day I'll get more motivated to "workout". Ya never know. However, I am quite the tennis pro!

I'm claiming the 5th on losing weight!! lol

Yaaay, Dan! What a wonderful accomplishment. I haven't used Wii at all, but watched some kids playing with the sports program last weekend. I thought about bowling against one of them, but then remembered our actual bowling game the week before and decided not to embarrass myself again. LOL!

A couple days ago I got the new Wii software called Active Personal Trainer - (A Revolution in Home Fitness). I thought it would help with changing up my exercise routine this winter. I tend to be bored with exercise quickly.
I also purchased a body bar. I'm liking it much better than free weights, and can also use it for balance in other exercises when ;) I tend to fall over.
