Morning all. Like Karen, our weather pattern is rain all week as well. Might even see a little white stuff tomorrow night. Way past time. I remember when snow on the ground was pretty much a given by now. Oct. 26 is historically first date for snow. Ski resorts would be prepping for a Thanksgiving weekend opening. Won’t be happening this year unless temps drop to allow snow making. Last years mild Winter added up to a whopping $41 million in losses to the states ski industry and who knows how much to the winter tourism industry. Was thinking yesterday, seems funny to see people out riding bikes this time of year. Was a beautiful 54°yesterday. But road workers, roofing companies, builders, landscapers etc. are getting added time to do project wrap ups.
Been recovering from a bout of tendinitis in my left shoulder area which restricted my arm movement. Been bothering me for about a week and a half and got really painful middle last week. So called my chiropractors office and we moved my appt. For this week back to last week. She did some adjustments and had her assistant do a laser therapy on it and said to alternate ice/heat at home. That was Thursday and by Sunday I was gaining most of the use of my arm back. No longer using the ice/heat routine. Had another round of treatment yesterday and will go again tomorrow. That should be the last. Needless to say, other than running errands in town, haven’t been doing anything. Enough idle time, time to get doing something constructive.
Martha, glad you had a fun camping trip. Hope you get the fridge issue solved. Judy’s been up and over the mountains, good job. Got a chuckle over Shirl’s “thumbs” comment. O’Sharon, hope you got the last of the leaves cleared out. Been there don’t that with the wind.
Otherwise, looks like we are all just in a “same old” pattern.
Need to get in the shower, wash my hair etc. and head to town. Annual Medicare Wellness visit today Starting with a new NP as my other one retired. I’ve seen her once just to touch base and get established. Really like her.
