Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning ladies!

BJ, like you said, Judy had some great ideas for gifts. Judy, the work you're putting in to the movies your father made will be cherished for future generations. I wish I had paid more attention to things my parents told me about their families. Other than our immediate family, all our relatives lived in Germany. I did meet most aunts and uncles when they came to the U.S., but I never really got the chance to really know them. Shirl, I liked the idea Judy mentioned about a cookie mix to go with the vanilla. Beth, since your fridge is in, carpet tiles are laid and the RV carport is installed, what is next for you? Barbie, have you heard back about the visitor center you talked to? Sue, yes, the pressure washing is done until the next time. That is hard work. Sharon, I don't miss the cold weather you're having.

The weather in central FL is still nice. It was 65 degrees when I got up and we'll get into the mid 80's with sunshine.

Steve's truck is still in the body shop and we were told to check in today because they said it should be done. But we've been told that once a week for the last month. The Archbishop of our diocese will be coming to visit our congregation two Sunday's from now. We're looking forward to his visit. Since the 90+ degree weather is gone, we've been spending lots of time in the pergola and hopefully we'll be doing that today, as well.

Good morning Irmi. Damp, cloudy with some off and on light rain so far. Yesterday was a very windy rainy ugly day. I didnt get much done yesterday, stayed snuggled under my heated throw, catching up on a couple of my shows from earlier this week. Basically a sloth day. Today it is a little cooler 45/53 but no wind which makes me happy. I will be working inside today just doing some laundry and some housekeeping chores. I did manage to make a quiche yesterday and took some salmon out for tonight with my favorite roasted veggies.

I had thoughts of driving over to the coast to see the King Tides but it was just not my kind of weather. Will see them next time maybe. Might make a Costco run later today and get a roasted chicken, then will make a chicken pot pie with a new recipe I found. Nothing much else going on here right now but I do like to try and pop in daily.

Good morning to all, it is 6:10 here been up since 4:30. Just not adjusting to the time change. Don't remember when I checked in last. Been having a lot going on around here. Bill was in hospital the last three days of October. Turns out he may have the beginning of heart failure. His body was retaining a lot of fluid which made it hard for him to breath. They ran a bunch of tests - of course - His heart is not pumping as well as it should, but not bad enough to be dangerous. Just border line. They gave him water pill so now he is going to bathroom every 1 1/2 hours - all day and all night. So neither of us are getting a good nights sleep. Then his eyelid on his good eye - the only one he can see out of, the one getting the eye shots drooped! One day it was fine next day it was closed. Went to ophthalmologist who does eyelid lifts, but said he didn't think he wanted to do it because Bill's is so bad and its his only eye and the lid itself is so fragile. So now waiting for specialist that we can't get into till Dec 10. The doc we saw told him to tape it up so he can see, but Bill doesn't want to do that. So when he holds the lid up and moves around he gets dizzy from seeing double. What a mess. We went to out primary doc yesterday and he reviewed the hospital records. Is not overly concerned. We will go to cardiologist on Monday Just 5 days away so he told Bill to stop the water pills for now and try to get some sleep. Also prescribed him some melatonin (sp) pills to help sleep. So we will learn more on Monday. When we saw cardiologist in July every thing was fine. I just got a copy of the hospital records haven't downloaded them yet 54 pages! He sure has felt better since came home. Except for one long covid attack. Guess that will never go away.
Also of course - got a leaking tire and had to get that fixed, but still getting a low tire pressure warning, so will go back to tire place later today and get all four checked. Monday we have to drive clear across town - 24 miles to see heart doc at 8 o'clock in the morning. Luckily we should be going against the traffic, I hope.
I'm still getting out three days a week and walking. Usually about 55 out when we start, but the sun is still warm.
So that is where we are, no trips planned over the winter unless things change a lot.
Beth your place looks great. Judy you are so organized with the movies and shopping. Every one take care and have a great holiday.

Carol, I wish things were better for you and Bill. He has certainly had his share of frustrations lately. And tape the eyelid up? Oh my!

We just got a text from the body shop and the bed was painted and looks wonderful. After everything dries, then they will spray the bed with the liner. Then the tonneau cover for the bed will be painted. Tomorrow or Saturday, the front of the truck will be connected to the bed and tonneau and we can pick it up. We are so excited!

Carol, I'm so sorry that Bill is having even more problems. Hugs to you.

Irmi, finally! I hope you take pictures and share of the finished truck. And
Beth, since your fridge is in, carpet tiles are laid and the RV carport is installed, what is next for you?

So many things, just not on such a grand scale. There are two "outside" compartments that open to nothing but the inside of the tt. One was letting rain in. Yesterday I replaced the seal and lock on that one so it is closing properly. Purchased silicon sealer at Walmart yesterday and today or tomorrow I'll be sealing both of those compartments closed. Lots of little things and I want to buy some outside furniture, etc, but that'll wait. Today I hung 4 cute signs. And I need to iron on hem the curtain I hang at my door and once at a window. Lots of little things like these. Here's a pic off this mornings little job:

heard on the radio yesterday that it was the birthday of route 66... 98 years old.... but that was yesterday
today was the day the nurse and aide come... so I never plan on doing more than that other than reading scriptures and crocheting... the aide was suppose to be here at 1:00 she didn't get here till much later as her father was in ER the nurse was on time though
the dish towels that I am working on (one is finished) I am doing two colors because I forgot the one color of yarn on my trip and although I could have gone to a store and gotten some the chances of getting the wrong yellow was too great so just the one color and when I got home added in the yellow then ended with the same amount of the navy... they are a bit bigger than the pattern but oh well today I finished the navy and back to the yellow one is navy then yellow then navy this one is yellow navy yellow... I hope to have them finished in a week or so ... hope at any rate trying to finish projects but I do tend to add to the list...
still having password issues with gmail not sure why I did another one tonight saved it so hopefully that will allow me to go in without having to put the password in and did write it down so here is hoping tomorrow will be good...
Carol so sorry that Bill is having all these problems... hopefully the cardio will come up with a good treatment plan... loved your photo's on your blog .... your sunsets ect are so pretty
Irmi you will have to post some pictures of your refurbished truck...
Beth for those who aren't on FB you ought to tell what the words are here... it's really neat looking sounds like you are getting lots done on the tt...
Karen what are the King tides? glad the weather is much better today... I have a heated throw sometimes it heats and sometimes it doesn't about ready to toss it and get me a new one I gave one to mom for Christmas the first year I was here it's never been out of the box so tempted to take it back and put it on my bed... but it's also a matter of plugging it in to the wall socket it's hard to get to...
you all have a great day

Carol, sorry Bill is having so many problems.

Judy, activity wise, Australian Sheppards are right up there with my dog a Blue Heeler. If she doesn't get enough exercise during the day we will have a couple of hours of off and on fetch at night. I don't know how much they shed because the one we had was an outside dog.

The weather at the campground was so nice today but the mosquitoes are bad. One lady that came tonight had her husband spray all around our camp sites. It was nice and quiet today but this afternoon the campers started rolling in. Luna and I are back at home. My refrigerator kept switching back and forth from battery to electricity. The freezer is freezing but this afternoon the refrigerator part was up to 65 degrees. I loaded up my food and came home. I'll go back in the morning with no cold food.

I had a long stressful drive today from Emigrant Lake to Eugene. I spent 8 days at Emigrant Lake, but had to be back here in time for my 5 pm pulmonary test. The route from Emigrant Lake includes a lot of mountains and it rained hard yesterday, but i was lucky that there was less rain today. But still, when you are going up and down, that rain can easily become snow, so I was glad to get back in time.

I was scheduled to leave Eugene and head to Napa on Sunday, but Saturday looks like less rain, so I think I will leave then, and try to make it all the way into California, preferably past Shasta to flatter land. It will be a long drive, however, but i have three full days to make it to Napa, so can bail out and find a campground if I have to.

Tomorrow, I am going shopping for groceries, some hardware stuff, and also to refill propane. Then I am going to head to Macy's and try to find a winter coat for myself. I have an old coat, but i want something a little warmer, and Napa has no big stores, other than Target and a Kohl's. It has really been cold here, and I am freezing outdoors, plus going through propane fast inside. But at least I am finished annotating Disk 2 and reviewing my writing to correct errors.

I suspect my son is planning on jogging with this puppy as soon as she gets old enough. He did that with Daisy, the Brittany, and she loved it. He is specifically choosing dogs that are high activity and OK with running a lot. My son works from home, at least when he is not traveling, so it is easy for him to do a quick run during his lunch hour. His wife works at home a day or two each week, so this means the dog will not be home much by itself during the day, which is good. My son has a separate office, and with Daisy, she had her own chair in the office. Or at least she had a chair when the cat had not beat her to it. Cat would join dog on dog bed or chair, but dog would never join cat if she got on either of them first. Clearly, cat was in charge. And this was from when she was only 8 weeks old, so tiny kitten pushed dog around. We shall see if this continues with new dog.

Beth, I really like the signs you put up and the curtains. Blue is among my favorite colors.

Per Sheila's request, here's a picture of the signs easier to read, not in the order I put them up though.
