Hummer Video and Biker Babe

I'm no longer a biker virgin - I rode behind Dean today when we went into Silver City. It was fun but not really my thing. I much prefer having more protection around me in traffic.

I took a video of my hummingbirds. I adore how feisty they are.

Karen, you look like a natural on that bike! Now, just add a pair of black leather chaps...oh, well - nevermind...

And cool video of the little birdies!

Karen, it's even more fun when you are doing the driving :D But I agree about the protection...one of the reasons I gave up my motorcycle and went to a moped.

The biker babe needs at least a helmet! I guess they aren't required in that state? Scary to think of traveling without one.

Although my motorcycle is all insured and registered again this summer, I haven't even started it up. It wouldn't start last fall, and I haven't had the motivation to even give it a try this summer. It's too heavy for me now, as when it tips over I can't get it back up. I definitely need to advertise it for sale and trade it in for a smaller scooter or a moped I can carry on a bumper rack to use when I am camping.

I LOVE your hummingbird video! You really have quite the flock of them! I love the ending where the victor is sitting on the peak!

What are those cup-like things next to your feeder in a fanned out array?

Happy travels!

I agree with Sooos - Don't go anywhere without a helmet! You do look good on the bike; know it had to be a fun trip.
The video was wonderful.

And where are your boots? Ouch if a foot gets dragged! Glad you had fun though. Now days so many women have bikes but I still look twice when I see one.

You're all right about the helmets - I'm always at my daughter to wear one but does she listen? As for the boots - just don't have any.

The cuplike things by the hummers is a bell thingy that sits on a table and tinkles when the wind blows.
