Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunshine Tuesday

At least for now it is. Looks like maybe some showers for a bit and then that’s it. Would be nice, then I won’t have t water. Currently it’s 59°.. Did get the grass cut yesterday and dogs and I took our afternoon walk. My appt. With lawyer was moved to tomorrow as she has an appt. Before mine that she thinks is going to run over. So asked if I would like to come in later today or wait till tomorrow. I said tomorrow was fine, then she can deal with other appt and not cram her day. Doesn’t matter to me.

Peggy, hope you and Tina are having a good visit. Beth, your HOA committee reminds me of the HOA in that Christmas movie “Deck The Halls”. Sometimes it borders on absurd with all the rules and regulations some HOA’s have. Martha, glad you had a good camping trip and thanks for the Roomba story  We all get a laugh at your expense, since you were the one who had to clean it and the Roomba up. Shelia, good to hear your friends husband is out of the hospital, but sorry to hear of the death in your family. Sharon, certainly hope things turn around for you.

Not sure what I am going to get into today, but it probably won’t be much. Since I have a cancellation on my appointment this morning, I didn’t bother doing anything with that yesterday so I will make sure it is all organized today. Might go up to town or I might not.first thing is take a shower, get dressed and go from there. Breakfast is over, Molly has her eye drops and both are having an early morning nap. All tired out from getting me up

Catherine you posted that you needed to get a trust set up.for your house. Look up California's Transfer on Death deed: "Homeowners often want to leave their home to children, partners, or others without forcing them to go through the probate court after the owner dies. There are several ways to set this up this in California.' Our lawyer did this for us but I could have called the courthouse and asked for a copy of the form and done it myself. Others who are interested can Google their states 0ptions

Pippa has a vet appointment with a vet we used for years and is about a 25 minute drive. She used to get car sick when she was younger so I've been taking her to a couple of vets locally and they have opposite opinions on her issues! I actually don't have much confidence in either. I think she has outgrown the car sick problem but guess this will be the test! Just in case I think I will take appropriate towels etc...

Good morning Sue,

Yesterday started out good. I packed up the large family photo and the smaller ones for my cousin and took that, along with a couple other things I needed to mail out to the post office (the smaller ones) and UPS for the big one. Also had the extra Camco sewer hose I accidentally ordered, to drop off at Kohls for return to Amazon. Had lunch at Taco Bell and then came home. I laid down on my bed and fell asleep. I slept for 4 hours! . After that, I didn't feel like doing anything. At least I got that stuff sent out finally.

I ordered a new pair of sandals from Amazon last week that were on sale and got them the other day. The ones I have been wearing for awhile now are all stretched out and are hard to walk in now. The new ones have an adjustable strap in back. They are really cute and I wore them yesterday while I was out and they are very comfortable, even being new and not broken in yet. They come in lots of colors so I think I will buy a few more pair in different colors. These are black.

One of my pet peeves is buying underwear that comes in packs of 6. I just bought some the other day at WM ($16 :o ) and I put one pair on and they aren't gonna work for me. They are actually comfortable but they don't have a cotton liner. I need to use panty liners (you know, the dribble issue   ) and they won't stick on these and just fall off, so that is the problem. (OK, probably TMI! :o ) Now I have 5 other pairs that I cannot return and will end up donating to a thrift store or women's shelter. Then I have to try to find another type that I will like. I have issues with elastic digging into my skin and try to find undies that are less likely to do that. Hard to tell tho when just looking at the packages. It is a lot of money to gamble on and end up not liking them and not be able to return them.

So today, I need to get some motivation and do my laundry. Need to get that done before I go thru my bedroom and get things sorted, tossed, or donated. I will probably start on some things in here while the laundry is going. Then I can go thru the clothes once that is done. The photos are on pause for now. Just lost interest and motivation to keep going with those. So I am changing my focus for the time being.

So sad to hear about all the fires! Besides the threat for the people in those areas, I feel so bad for all the wildlife that is affected by them! Breaks my heart!

I better get dressed and get started. I also have a PT session at 1:30 today I need to remember to go to! I do have an alarm set on my phone for that. (I have alarms set for everything!).

Have a good day, rain or shine!

*BJ, you jumped in just ahead of me... My dad put his house in a trust to us kids. The issue with that in MN, is there is a 10 year waiting period after it is put into a trust, before it kicks in. His neighbor did that with her house but ended up in a nursing home about 6 years later and the nursing home took her house and sold it to pay for her stay and care. Big loss for the family. My dad passed away 11 years after he set up the trust so we were able to just take over the house in our names. Every state is different I imagine but it is a really good idea to get that done sooner than later. Sounds like CA has some good options.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

That sounds really complicated! MN does have the TOD option it isn't a trust of any kind. Here is one explanation from a MN law firm. https://www.whiteandassociateslaw.com/2 ... minnesota/

Good afternoon all. Just finished my morning tasks. I shampooed my family room now I am relegated to the living room ha ha It really wasnt that dirty but will look so much better. The hallway of course was dirty but all clean now. I will just hang out in the living room area until tomorrow. I just cant lay down on the couch and try to watch tv because if I lay down I will go to sleep. And we all know that just doesnt work for me.
Washed my bathroom floors and laundry room floor. Still have to wash the kitchen floor but will do that tomorrow. My task for this afternoon is sewing new squeakers into some of the dog toys and mending the ones whose limps are coming off. Dog toy hospital day. It is hard because if I am holding them Emma wants them LOL she is SOL., at least until I am done. Think once I get the ones coming apart I will throw them in the washer before I replace the squeaker. Such an exciting life I lead.

I was almost late for my doctor's appointment because I was trying to use my phone for directions. They took X-rays of my foot from every direction but didn't see any bone spurs. The doctor thinks my pain is coming from my sciatic nerve since I have pain even when I'm in bed. I did have sciatica for 3 month in 2019 and my hip still bothers me sometimes. He gave me a cortisone shot in the side of my foot where it hurts the most and it hurt like hell. It seems like it might be helping. I sure hope so.

When I got home my electricity was off. I called my neighbor and they had electric so started looking around. The big clothes pin looking thing on the transformer was burned in half. I called the company and they had a truck here in an hour. The trucks that showed up didn't have the part because my transformer is old. I had a bucket truck, a pickup truck and 5 guys standing around in my yard waiting for someone to bring the right part. After they finished one guy told me he was putting in a work order for a new transformer and they might replace the pole too because the top is split. I know that the pole has been hit by lightening twice. I sure hope they don't start on that project until my yard dries up.

Barbie, I don't know what kind of department stores you have near you but I buy underwear at Dillard's. They sell single pairs but they will cost more than Walmart. My favorite are Bali Skimpy Skamps. You could find one pair you like and order more from Amazon cheaper.

BJ, hope Pippa made it to the vet without getting sick. One of my cats either throws up in the kennel on the way to the vet or poops or both.

I need to find a box I can put over the Roomba so the cats can't walk on it. I'm glad I didn't take a picture of the mess. Seeing it once was enough. My son said I could have been famous on Facebook.

It rained on me all the time I was out. Just enough to have to run the wipers. The weather man says this area could get 6 inches of rain this week. I hope not. I didn't check to see how much it rained today.

it is totally impossible to imagine 6 inches of rain.... I doubt that we get that much in a whole season spring summer and fall that is  I ought to google that see what the average rain is but would that take in the snow for the winter... I hope that they get that transformer and pole replaced it sounds like it would be the best thing
it was nice of the lawyer to contact you Sue and give you an option rather than have you sitting in the waiting area or ever..
That was probably a good idea to work on something else for awhile... then go back to the pictures... perhaps it is even something you can take to brother and sister in law and have them help you figure out what is best to do with them... might even enjoy looking at them
before I forget I know that many of you read lots... Lyn being one of them I was telling the nurse about a book I remember reading she thought that it sounded good... but I can't remember the name of it suppose to be true store took place during Indian times... a woman was captured and taken a long way from her settlement and how she escaped and followed the river back home even seems like she had someone with her who the Indians thought was crazy so they really didn't make an effort to recapture them... it's seems like the distance was a 1,000 miles but again it was forever ago that I read it...
I really need to change some of my priorities so I can get something done... I chose to crochet on a hat for the nurses daughter today I still want to make one for the aides new baby but don't have the right color I did find a light gray that I think I am going to try doing a pattern with and if it turns out then I will get the right yarn for the aides baby and give the one to a lady in the ward that is expecting her first daughter ... they didn't think they could have more and low and behold... can't remember how many boys they have perhaps 3...
was talking to my eldest and she mentioned that her eldest and husband (who live in Maryland but were out for the Shakespeare Festival) were coming up for supper their plane was canceled due to the glitch... wonder when they will get to go home... might be quicker if they rented a car and drove... but perhaps other airlines are doing ok
saw where Barbie had two new dolls one a blind Barbie and the other one a black Barbie with Downs think both are a good idea
you all have a great day
