Thanks for sharing the picture here, Tina. I'm glad you and Paulette were able to attend.

Back from the doctor. Everything looks good. She recommends that I start taking a probiotic. She knows I prefer natural treatments and because my body doesn't tolerate dairy very well, I had cut way back on most dairy, so I'll give probiotics a go.

I think Ginger and I will attempt to get up early tomorrow and go to the lavender farm. We had put it off last weekend because temps were looking to be better this weekend. They lied lol

Tina, glad you and Paulette were able to go to the memorial service. Nice photo of you three.

Didn't end up doing much yesterday other than perusing FB most of the day. I was gonna go thru photos today while watching golf. But the tournament is in Europe so it is already over for today. Will have to find something else on TV to entertain me while I go thru the photos. Sometimes I just turn it to one of the music channels, like 70's classics. :D

Need to do laundry, but may do that tomorrow morning when it isn't quite so hot out going to the laundry room and back.

I put the cat door in the slider to the porch for the cats but they are not staying out there very long due to the heat. Lola used to stay out there for hours no matter how hot it was! :o

Yesterday, I did order new sunglasses from Zenni online. My old ones had the nose piece break off awhile ago so I can't even use them as a back-up pair. I do get a free pair of regular glasses with my insurance from the place I got my exam at. Their selection (that my insurance covers) isn't very big but will take a look and see if something will work. Free is free, right?

I better get dressed and get busy! Almost noon already! Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Afternoon all. Just got home from my post op appointment. All is well. Fixing some lunch now then will do a couple loads of laundry and remake my bed after that. Henry is vacuuming and I dusted yesterday so house is spiffed.
Not sure what to fix for dinner yet but I have choices ha ha

Tina great picture of the three of you. I am sure Lori was very happy that you both came. A friend of mine lost her husband last night but was not unexpected but still so final. This is the part I hate about getting older. We lose more and more friends and relatives way too often

Lots of fires all around here right now, most are small but they are all hands on deck for one south east of Roseburg. Helicopters doing a great job they said. Not sure how big it is but they seem to have control as they lifted the evacuations from level 3 to level 2 that is always a good sign.

Thank you for sharing the picture Tina. I recognized Paulette but not Lori. I'm sure your presence was appreciated. You all look great.
It is absolutely beautiful here today I don't think it want above 80 with low humidity. Tonight's low is supposed to be 62!!! I'll take it while it lasts! Karen good to hear your followup went well. Beth hope the probiotic helps. I meet friends every Friday afternoon at a local bar that has been her forever. We go at 2;30 and it usually is fairly quiet until about 4:30 but today everyone must have decided to take the afternoon off and it was crowded inside and on the patio. I brought home catfish, hush puppies and baked beans for dinner.

Karen glad all is well with your follow up have you noticed a difference yet?
love that picture Tina saw it on FB but this one is bigger and easier to see... you all look great and really nice of you two to be with Lori at that time... the military service is always touching
hope the probiotics work and don't cause you any issues... is there a Plant source for probiotics?
it's all confusing Barbie all that paper stuff hopefully your agent was able to explain it better... even better than that fix it so you don't have to pay for it...
went to the bank mom had some needed to be deposited and I had a couple of questions to ask a banker... then on to the store got gas then inside and planned on getting milk bread and something for supper tomorrow... hopefully she will eat it... and of course milk oh and some EmerganC and dry eye drops... left after spending over 100 dollars not sure how but did it... guess I got more than planned  of course the EmerganC and drops is almost 30 so doesn't take long... my dd who lives in WA was telling me her cherry tree turned out to be plum cherries
looks like cherry's tastes like plums the pit is like a plum as well... I found them today at the store so of course had to get them to try... they are good
also got some cottage cheese that really tasted good... so had the left over goulash I gave mom some asked if that is enough no more she would have still left a lot if she had just taken what I dished out... I think 2 or 3 forkfuls good thing the cottage cheese was there...
have some friends that went on a 2 week cruise in Norway among the Fjords was getting close to getting on the plane when that whatever happened they don't know how long they will be staying in Norway hopefully not long...
my friends husband is out of ICU into a intermediate bed when they find the bed for him... so doing well his daughter and son told him about his daughter dying today it had to be so hard for them... hopefully this won't cause a set back for him... they talked to the doctors before giving him the news... I feel so bad for them...
you all have a great day

Started back on the photos this afternoon. This is taking so much more time than I ever thought! I think I am done with one subject of photos (ie; family) and then find more photos of that subject and need to go thru all of them to find duplicates, and get more tossed out. Some, I am writing on the back of them, "who, what, when, and where" about each one. I am taking photos of the larger photos with my phone and will get copies of those made in smaller sizes. I will end up with quite a few more photos than I thought I would but should still get down to about 25% of what I started with. I am finding some interesting photos I have never seen before, tho. I hope I can get this finished by the end of the weekend.

Lynn, when are you moving in to your trailer?

It sounds really windy tonight! I can hear it blowing against the house and my wind chimes are going crazy. Next weekend is suppose to cool off to about 109* during the day and upper 70's at night so I need to get up really early one of those days to get a few things taken care of outside, like painting the trim on the deck, and caulking a few places. Still need to get the door locks replaced too. Always something more to do...

Have a good night!

The weather is certainly nuts this year. Temps topped out at 111* at my house yesterday afternoon; "cooled off" all the way down to "only" 80* last night.

And it isn't even desert here like it is there.

Can't wait until fall. Hopefully it gets here by mid-November.

I guess I shouldn't complain. There haven't been any major-major wildfires near to me this year. At least so far. . .
