PICTURES OF A BEAUTIFUL DAY AT LAST!!

Postby Nasoosie » Mon Jul 20, 2009 7:28 pm

Today was beautiful, and Molly and I went for a walk with my camera! I skipped mowing the lawn and opted for taking the canoe onto the pond to remove brush debris clogging the overflow pipe, not put deliberately by the beavers, but beaver junk, just the same. They say that beavers aren’t programmed to stop up running water in a drain-type thing---just in dam-like things! Luckily for me, the wind calmed down just while I was out there, and enabled me to carefully put the canoe in, remove the brush, paddle (with no twisting---not easy) back to shore and haul the canoe back out. SUCCESS!

Today is the first day I have noticed a bit of improvement as far as lessening of rib pain! YIPPEEEE! Should I dance around a campfire to celebrate? NOT!

And here are the pics I took on my walk:

Great pictures. Your? saw mill? All of that is on your land. WOW! Thanks for putting names to the flowers. I see them and wonder what they are. Keep getting better - be careful of overdoing it.

Thanks for the tour around your property. Not sure I would have attempted canoeing with cracked ribs, but glad you were successful. Those wild roses look just like the ones we see all over Alaska. Beautiful pictures of all the little things....I love it.

Love the photos and tour.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. Just remember to allow a little more healing time than you think you need. Otherwise chances of set back to make things worse again and know you do not want that.
