I'm in the looking stage, too. I've been doing that for over a year now, but only recently gotten more serious. I'm biding my time as I'm in no hurry and want to spend my money on something I fall in love with, not what I can talk myself into thinking will be adequate.

Welcome to the group You'll find lots of information and fun with this group. I would agree that it is such an individual decision on what type of RV to buy, trailer, MH, 5th wheel, small, large, etc., do you want to tow another vehicle or have your home behind you. Been fulltiming with my DH for 4 years, part time and then fulltime. Moved from a 29ft Class C to a 36 ft Class A. It's amazing what you can live without in terms of stuff-but for us must have phone, computer and pictures of gk's. Also, a chair to sit outside and an ability to make conversation with strangers Oh, and don't forget some type of flamingo doodad- (if you visit with retiredhappy, you get a flamingo wineglass ) Good luck and looking forward to sharing your adventure. carold

Welcome. First, let me apologize for posting to your other thread before welcoming you. Me bad. Is it ok that I'm in Alaska and yours is one of the only threads I posted to?

Seriously, you've come to the right place for a lot of people to give you heartfelt answers to your questions and help you anyway we can. Just remember, for many of your questions there are no one right answers - just one answer that will be the most right for you (for example, you're getting a travel trailer. You made that decision over all the other choices. So it's the right decision, at least at this time, for you.)
