Was a very busy day at work today and I am beat!

I got a text from my agent saying he is expecting to get an offer from this couple tomorrow. :D Fingers crossed we can get it all mutually agreed on and get a quick closing, and that they will let me stay here for a month or so after closing. They mentioned that they don't plan to come down again until January.

I decided to order a dishwasher to replace the one I have that doesn't work. This couple was excited to see a dishwasher. Many park models don't have one. I told her it doesn't work but I am planning to replace it. So I ordered one from Home Depot. The smaller dishwashers cost more than the regular sized ones, but I found one that was a decent price with really good reviews. Plus I saved $50 on it by applying for a HD credit card. I will get it delivered on Tuesday and hopefully I can get the park's plumber/maintenance guy here to install it for me.

Have tomorrow off. I will work on some little projects around here that I have put off, but now need to get done.

Sheila, are you going to try to get to Q this winter?

Am already in bed early tonight.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, fingers crossed that they offer and it's a good one.

I really appreciate everyone's suggestions as you all brought up things I hadn't thought of before. I was surprised to find that Illinois is not a community property state but neither of us have children and we do have a will and power of attorney designations. I do have checking accounts in my name as primary, but I will also get a card in my name. Anne, I respect and appreciate your concern but in my opinion I don't believe anyone shared information that could compromise their identity.
Beth sorry about your tooth and that your plans have changed. Barbie I hope you get a good offer soon I know you are ready for your next adventure. Sheila enjoy the rest of your visit!

Quite a bit happened since I went to bed apparently..Barbie I sure hope they really do make an offer, that would be great news. Beth glad your tooth is not hurting you right now. We all know that with teeth that could change in an instant so glad you are deviating to get your tooth fixed. BJ hope you get your credit card situation under control ha ha
I also have 2 credit cards from 2 different financial institutions. I once had my debit card cancelled for fraud activity without any notice. I was grocery shopping while I was out of town on assignment and it was declined. The manager helped me call my bank and they sent me to the fraud department. Told me suspicious place I used my card so they cancelled it. Thanks for letting me know NOT. So I went to the physical bank, drew out some money, (they wanted me to swipe my card huh?) went to the bank down the street and opened a new account there. Now I had to wait for 2 new cards but I had drawn out enough to cover anything I might need in between. That just taught me a very good lesson.
Ya know, dont put all your eggs in one basket kind of thing. So I still have those 2 cards. I use the primary one and only use the other one for an occasional online purchase just to keep it active.

I am not too worried about sharing in this forum even tho I know it is not private. We have the private room for anything we want to post to share privately. If they want to target you they can and will. One of the biggest things that I will NOT do is play those little "What color suits you, What is your favorite XXX" too many personal tidbits they want to know.
Anne makes some good points and I guess I just dont worry that much about sharing on here or Facebook. Especially not any financial info but who shares that anyway?? I never respond to any attachments or messages in messenger unless someone I know tells me they are sending it. If I get a message in email from my banks or other institutions, I go directly to their website.and look at my messages from them or I call if I am concerned. OR I won xxx from Costco, Walmart, etc I wont click on those either. We all know I did not randomly win something. So I agree we all need to be cautious in this day and age and do what is comfortable for each of us. I use Facebook to stay in touch with people I know all over the USA and Canada. Family and people I have worked with. Just like here on this forum, I have made some very good friends here. Some just online others I have met in person. I have some gamer friends but they are all on a separate list in Facebook with no access to my personal posts. I have three lists LOL Close friends, friends, and Gamers. Just keep safe and do what you are comfortable with is my advice.

Okay second cup of coffee time,
Karen
