Tuesdsy, Aug. 8th

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesdsy, Aug. 8th

Morning everyone. Beautiful morning out there. 59° heading to low to mid 7’s. Not a lot on agenda today as Molly has an appt. With the new vet at 1:00, so kind of breaks up the day. Might do a bit of sidewalk caulking this morning.

But I wanted to share this with you as thought it would be goof a laugh. Karen, make sure you don’t leave any outside doors open

Good morning Everyone
Sue, that sign is priceless!!!! Is it for real? 4km is far… Does anybody remember the RVer who posted about his Roomba scaring his little white dog? His story was hilarious and the the Roomba company appreciated his humor and the free publicity and gave him a new one. Enjoy today. Peggy

Good morning, been outside doing my daily chores LOL Now a few inside ones and then get a shower and throw some things together so I can get on the road to Medford before it heats up too much. Going to be 95 or 96 there today. Coming home Thursday. Had coffee and some breakfast so now time for a shower.

Sue, Cheryl posted this and tagged me, I just could not quit laughing. Henry will be on the job here this morning before I leave but he has the next 2 days off.

Sue, that's so funny. And Peggy, I remember that, too!

I didn't sleep well last night and work 3 -9 so while I'm not a nap taker I think it might be a smart move as I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open.

Maybe the Roomba was overworked and jumped into the surf to end its life?

Had to take a break to receive a phone call, but I am back. Today is my day for catching up on things like phone calls to various places. Heading to Ontario next week, so I need to make a couple of reservations. Going to try to visit some cemeteries and find past homes of my 2nd great-grandparents and pick up some pea-meal bacon, aka "Real Canadian bacon." Going to drive east and enter Canada at Niagara Falls, and then stay near Hamilton for a few days, head further east along the north shore of Lake Ontario to a town called Belleville, then north to Hastings where I will stay a few days. Eventually, back west to Sarnia and Michigan.

Yesterday was rain almost all day. I missed it at the hospital, but got dumped on as i was setting up, so had to change my wet clothes when I got inside. At least it is sunny and dry today, but tomorrow I will have to spend the entire day getting thyroid and parathyroid tests, which involves getting some radioactive iodine at 8 am, then waiting in my motorhome until noon, getting some blood tests, then a pet scan at 1 pm. Yuck. At least I will have my motorhome to sit in during the morning wait.

Peggy, I’m sure that sign is fake as the name and numbers on the slips attached are. That’s a dead give away. Somebody was just having some fun to give everybody a laugh

Judy, I laughed out loud at your Roomba taking it's own life comment. Thanks.

Ty was thrilled. I only worked 3 hours. It was very slow tonight. And two of us even spent close to an hour going to all the cleaned but not rented cabins, glamping tents and rental RVs to check how well they were cleaned. Three didn't meet my standards even after we fixed most problems. But they were problems I didn't have the ability to fix tonight. I'll take them up with the manager when I see him. Not difficult fixes but it's up to him if and how they get done.

I started another hat for a little girl like I did for ggranddaughter.. it's for her cousin that she plays with a lot thought it only fair (she is her cousin on her mom's side ) they are about the same age and size so hopefully the same size will fit... one thing about making afghan's I can usually find some yarn that might work found some pink so hopefully she will like pink although I should have gotten off my butt and gone and seen what I can do on the Swedish Weave niece took her sewing machine to have it have some maintenance work done on it... so some of what I would do I can't right now but really think if I looked at it I can do something..
it was just a oh hum day should have done more but another row on the scarf was done.. scriptures read and time spent on FB oh the toilet was cleaned
it's chilly tonight I should have made hot chocolate by trying not to do that every night.. and had it last night
have some herb tea might go fix some of that
oh and I wrote down the books I read last month and put them in the box and found the vitamins that I heard fall ... she is almost out of the D so had to find them
What are some of the things that you would do Beth?
I chuckled over that it really was funny... I saw something on yahoo where this car had hit a house that happens right we ever so often hear about it the police think it wasn't an accident the car actually hit the 2nd story know one knows why but it's a mess but the comments made me chuckle the few that I read one said the slogan of one Farmers I think it was another did another on another insurance slogan one said something about brand of car was ahead of the other's coming up with a flying car... they did make me chuckle
you all have a great day

Maybe that roomba ran off with another roomba! A roomba romance!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
