Morning All, 71° sunny very humid. Had a nice t-storm last night nit a scary one. Beth, glad you have a plan. I had a scary situation with a loose live wire in the wall of my house. Fingers crossed for an easy inexpensive fix. Looking forward to a catch up visit from grandson today so no other plans. Be safe

Morning all. It’s another gloomy and wet day. Air quality is bad again so will have to be careful with my outside time. Chiropractor later today so other than taking Buddy out that’ll be it for me. Besides it much to wet for any outside work. Shirl, glad your lamp is fixed,it looks like it was made for the place you have it. Beth, sure hope you can get your door situation taken care of. It’s always something. Today is my youngest son’s 50th birthday. So hard to believe sometimes. Sometimes it makes me feel really old! But I keep telling myself that it’s only a number! Buddy seems to be recovering well but the hard part is trying to keep him less active. I had thought about taking him out for a very short walk today but between the air and rain don’t think it’ll happen. I’ll maybe try later this afternoon. The trainer will be coming next Friday to work with us and by then he should be recovered enough to get back to his normal routine. Instructions said 3 days in the crate but no way so confined to kitchen. Been through this before and common sense is the name of the game. Now I just need to get his lifetime dog license and we’ll be covered. So since today is an inside day I need to change the sheets on my bed and vacuum again, yet, still! Buddy sheds so much! Guess that’s the lab in him! Well, the boy is asking to go outside so better listen to him. Have a great day.

Good morning. Beautiful outside 59/89 so wont be doing much outside. The project I have outside is a big one, staining my decks. So will wait until it cools down. I just dont do the heat like I used to. Might be October before it cools down now you never know. I just know I want it done before winter. No humidity to speak of here, just going to be hot this week.

Beth sure hope you can get your door fixed. I dont mind so much that I cant do some stuff myself but I mind not being able to find someone else to do it for me. I dont even mind paying but finding good help now days is way hard. Sharon glad to hear Buddy is recovering nicely. The vets are good at telling us what to do ie: crating a dog....nope. When my gal got spayed they wanted me to buy a cone of shame. I told them I already had one (a fib) I put a Onesie on her and it worked great, and she didnt mind it one bit.
Have a small pot roast in my small crockpot. Had breakfast and now going to take a shower. Need to go out and water the plants on the front deck and yard that will be it for outdoor activity. Then take the shower.

Well, I have a mobile RV service guy that will be coming out next week. Dang, their service call costs have gone up but I expected that. I liked our conversation and they hopefully find a solution with the screen, even if it means removing it. And, Shirl, they'll look at my bathroom fixture. I just thought of something else I might see if they'll do. I don't want a second service call for something minor lolol

Ty and I got our walk in early, as is necessary. About 1 1/2 miles this morning. It's already upper 80's and the pavement is just too hot for dog paws already. Ty will still beg to go out and he'll lie in our porch in the sun for a bit. He is a sun dog. Karen, I don't do the heat like I used to, either. But I do ok in the desert heart better than humid heat, especially if there's shade. The desert sun is relentless.

I'm replying to my own post lol. I texted the picture to the mobile repair person and just got a text back that he can fix it! Yeah. I told him every other repair person has only wanted to replace the entire door. Ok, his fee may be high to come out, but he says there shouldn't be much else. Fingers crossed.

Beth, the mobile guy sounds good. His fee can’t be as expensive as a door replacement. If he is reasonable, competent tell him you will post his info at the camGround if it isn’t already there. Everyone needs an atta boy and you can use a friend/repairman. Tell Ty to be nice to him with lots of kisses. Lol porch friend just texted about her sorry new doctor appointment. It’s a sorry ole world.

It is hot and getting hotter here. Supposed to be 102 and humid the next couple of days! I am already in my freak out mode thinking of all sorts of possible scenarios of what could happen. I don't perspire so I don't handle heat well and being freaked just adds to the issue. I think the smoke must have reached here, it is really hazy outside.

Shirl I'm sorry your friend had a bad doctor experience but I think it is the norm now. I've probably ranted about this before but will vent again. Doctors never touch you now, used to you had to put on one of those awful robes and sit on the exam table waiting, at least once a year they would do a breast exam and check your stomach for hernias. Now they pass a stethoscope around your body so fast they couldn't possible hear anything and some don't even have exam tables. Also you pretty much have to direct them as to what blood work you need. Some prescribe or want to increase blood pressure medication based on the reading in their office. Most peoples BP is high at the doctors office... As Soos would say ACK!!

I was hungry for pizza yesterday and my wonderful neighbor must have read my mind as she brought me back some (almost a whole one) from my favorite pizza place. She just returned from being away for almost two weeks and I missed her so much.

Time for lunch, Pippa just reminded me it was time for her 'cookies' kibble and milk (goat) This morning I decided to get a sugar snap pea out of the freezer for her and by the time I got to the fridge she was beside me.

Beth I hope you can get an inexpensive fix for your door! Sharon good to hear Buddy is doing well. I've been lucky none of mine have ever needed the dreaded cone.

Good morning gals!

No aches or pains today or for the past few days. Yay! But still feeling a little off-kilter yet. Not bad but just noticeable.

Yesterday, I saw that Barnes & Noble was hiring again for a part-time job at the mall, so I reapplied for that. Will see... Also realized that I never finished setting up my voicemail on my new phone last month, so I got that done and then found several voicemails I got from the temp service a couple weeks ago that were calling about jobs that had come up and asking me to call them back! Those calls never even registered on my phone, let alone the messages! Darn! I hope they didn't put me on the "doesn't respond" list! :o  I did call them the other day to let them know I am still available.

No plan yet for today. Need to wash my hair and take out the trash. Maybe will clean the bathroom. I figured out yesterday that if I want to list this place in August, that is only 4 weeks away!!! :o I need to get my butt in gear and get back to organizing, sorting and packing again! Need to do more downsizing too. Amazing how things can get cluttered and accumulate after even a short time! 4 weeks isn't a lot of time but since I did a lot last year, I don't have nearly as much work as I had then. If I go thru 2 rooms/areas each week, I should be done with it inside and out by August 1st. With ADHD, I need a tight deadline in order to motivate me to get stuff done. So hopefully, I won't wait until the last week or so to get going!

Cats are still doing well. They are playing more and more, and Sophie is coming up on the bed more to get love. She is a very vocal cat! She talks to me all the time! She lets me know every night when I say it is bedtime, that she needs her "bedtime snack"! I have to put Romeow in the bedroom. I feed my fish then, and he loves to get up on the dresser to watch the fish eat. So that keeps him busy! Then I close the door and go out and give her her snack. Otherwise he would push her aside and eat it himself. Also, she is no longer pulling her fur out now. Her belly hair is growing in now so maybe not so itchy anymore.

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

The high today was 101. I went to Walmart to pick up Sugar's prescription and go to the post office. It was so cool in the post office that I think I would have stayed a while if there was anywhere to sit. The ac in my car has trouble keeping up with this heat.

Everyday I think about calling the last dermatologist I went to. Hopefully I can get an appointment. They said they would call me in a year to set up an appointment and I think that was about 3 years ago. I was finally able to access the My Chart the gynecologist uses. They didn't check my blood pressure at the appointment and just copied the results from my appointment with another doctor in December. Makes me feel very confident in their exam, not.

Someone was getting a fishing license at Walmart so I stopped to see if I could get a new one. I can't get a new one because mine hasn't expired. All fishing licenses run from July 1 to June 30. If I had planned to go to the lake this weekend that would have been inconvenient. It is too darn hot to go camping.

There is a big celebration with fireworks on TV at LSU because they won the baseball championship. Something Lyn probably watched.

I had an individual frozen pizza for supper. It was pretty good but would like to have one from my favorite place in Lafayette. There is a Meetup Brunch Saturday. We'll see if I feel like trying to make it to Lafayette Saturday morning.

I pretty much made it a do nothing day it's not hard to do that just ignore what you thought you may do
but I did do 3 rounds on the hat and the last skein on that baby afghan is getting smaller and smaller... I am wondering if I have more than 3 rows left to do on it yea!!! will be excited getting it done then back to working on the Swedish Weave... I counted my projects in various stages of doing and the count was up to 5 way too many projects to have going  getting one finish will help a lot the hat is easy and will finish in a week or so then I might make him a scarf to go with it not like the one I made for his sister but think that I can do one fairly quickly using another idea... the dish cloth is for my dd#3 and it is an on going do it when I'm watching a pod caste grandson's afghan is almost done then I will start a granddaughter's but don't know her colors yet text her last night but she hasn't replied back I made the mistake of saying she had a bit of time shouldn't have done that
Barbie glad the kitties are getting along well and Sophie is filling out more
I have a brain freeze and can't figure out what I was going to say
you all have a great day
