Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Morning everyone. Another sunny, warm day coming up. Currently it’s 62°. Have my patio door and living room windows open to let in the cool morning air. We hit the upper 80s yesterday and I don’t know if I broke any records or not if I haven’t heard yet. Supposed to start going down tomorrow, back to more normal temps for a few days.

Nothing in particular on the agenda for today. I’m thinking over a project that I want to do but haven’t decided exactly what I want to do yet. I want to redo the area where my statue of the Virgin Mary is. She needs a new coat of paint, mostly the blue. Once the impatiens in the pots start filling out, they will look really nice. But aI ant to put something around behind, like a partial stone wall or wood one. So my brain is in thinking mode. I do have more of the retaining wall stone that lines the flowerbed and May use that.

But being a warm day again, I will just think on that and probably do some woodcraft stuff that needs repainting. We shall see where the day goes. Hope you all have a nice one.

Morning Sue and All, 73° partly sunny, T-storm today. It’s a weekend so staying home. Lots of motorcycles passing by so guess there is some gathering ar the beach.Would be faster if they stick to the highway but this back road is more scenic. Not as pretty since the power company erected a gigantic white cube in the field across the road. No plans just putzing at home. Wish I could sit in Karen’s new outdoor furniture and watch her work in her garden. Lol Shelia, hope you get some warm weather soon. Beth, are you counting the days? Just watched a video of a bubbling fountain for hummingbirds made with a t little trash can and a soda bottle, too cute. Would love to make one but don’t need more birds, lol Still working on that large head of cabbage so flounder filet and sweet potato fries for dinner. Be safe

Good morning. 47 here right now but will be getting warmer up to low 80's today. I am sipping coffee and pondering my day. LOL Like Shirl weekends I tend to stay home, no need to fight all the weekend shoppers etc. I thought about going to the Farmers market this morning but I dont really need anything. I bought some strawberries that I need to cut up and sweeten I am sure. I was going to make some scones to make strawberry shortcake but spied some small scones in the bakery section (4 smaller ones) so picked those up. I dont like Angel food, sponge or pound cake. I like the sweetness I guess. I also dont like soggy and all the aforementioned get very soggy. I have a delicate palate when it comes to shortcake I guess ha ha

I might do inside chores today as I have quite a bit of laundry to do and need to wash my kitchen and bathroom floors. Also might wash my car later, it needs a bath. So far I am happy with my car purchase, seems to work out well so far. I can still fit several bags of dirt in the back without putting the seats down so that is good. I still dont fully understand all the technology stuff but I have everything I need working properly so guess I am good to go.

Breakfast time and a shower, need to start my day. Then laundry...ugh

GADS…It’s RAINING here! Very light, but the sidewalks are all wet.
Karen have you posted a picture of your car? I f you did, I missed it. Do you have the feature where it parks itself? I think of you every time I see a new Buick parked around here.
Padres are home. Now sidewalks are crowded with ball goers to the stadium. And, cars circling the blocks looking for parking spots. There aren’t any! It’s difficult on my scooter watching for them, watching Hazel, watching for holes and poop on the sidewalk!
I continue watching the softball games.

It's still ongoing BP saga for me. Drug 3 added Thursday night, ended up sending me too low, and of course Dr was closed Friday afternoon, when I was to let them know if patch form of drug 3 arrived! He definitely over medicated me. So I adjusted on my own, after consulting with pharmacist. This has been such a circus, from high in morning, fine rest of day to suddenly very high all the time to way too low! Need to find a happy medium! Weather is beautiful here. We might reach 90 for 2 days early next week. It's been amazing to stay in the very comfortable 80's so late in spring! I could live with 80's days and 50's at night year around!
Wish I had energy to get out in yard to do stuff, but at moment I'm just glad my gardener trimmed dead buds off roses and cleaned up yard. Have a good day everyone.

Mornin' ladies~~~
Such pretty container gardens. I miss my yard with roses, lilacs, lilies, and my favorite impatients, but still traveling is a good trade off, and less work. :?

Well i made it to Bend, Oregon yesterday! Will do some exploring in this area until next Thursday. So nice seeing ponderosa pines, or any tree for that matter. It was a long drive with road construction through the mountains and waiting for a pilot vehicle, but i made it!

Velda i sure hope you're doctor gets your BP under control. My mom was on 3 different medicines 3 times a day for years and it never really came down.

I'm off to Sister's area for a lunchtime gtg with Laura Segrest which some of you know.

Have a great day!
Cheryl

Good afternoon gals!

Sunny, warmer, and much calmer outside today. The neighbors car cover survived the winds the other night and is still on the car.

The cats are getting more comfortable with each other. Still a little growling and hissing from McKenzie but not as aggressive or as often. She seems more curious now. Romeow is getting more brave and getting less scared and intimidated by McKenzie, coming a little closer each day to her enclosure. Romeow even played some in front of her enclosure today. A little improvement each day.

McKenzie has been avoiding her bed and just laying on the floor of the enclosure, so I made a different bed for her. She totally rejected that and started laying in her litter box, which isn't good because of her incision. I took out that bed and just put down a pillow case and she is sleeping on that. I think, like Romeow, she gets warm and likes cooler material to lay on.

Got my latest issue of my Gourd magazine today. Lots of really beautiful gourd art in there! Makes me miss working on them. Most of my gourd stuff is packed away in the storage unit but eventually I will get back into it. That is why I want to eventually find a place that has an additional room where I can set everything up permanently for that, that is heated and air conditioned to work in year 'round.

I am hoping I can start working soon so I can start working on some things around here that need fixing, replacing, etc. In a couple months I want to get this place back on the market and try to get it sold in the fall, fingers crossed, with a motivated real estate agent!

Enjoy the rest of your day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sure, I love the pictures you posted today. Thanks. Cheryl, if possible you should try to gtg with Karen and Laura together while up there. Meantime have fun with Laura.

I also prefer not going places on weekends. It's why I prefer working weekends when I have jobs, paying ones or volunteer. It was pretty nice here though when I had Sundays off before they started Sunday hours. Still nice, but I loved feeling like the gardens were all mine. Lol

Velda, I sure hope they can moderate your BP. This obviously is no fun for you at all.

I can't remember the other things I planned on replying to. To tired. Sweet dreams all.

the weather said it was going to rain so I opted not to look and see if it was doing anything I think I heard thunder so just figured they were right I don't think they were and didn't realize it till I'd wasted the whole afternoon... well part of it reading scriptures isn't a waste... finished a book and caught a short nap
my friend called and explained my pattern I think I perhaps understand it now.... hopefully tomorrow I will start all over on the sample and see if I can do it...
had french toast and bacon and sausage they were both left overs so heated in the A/F used some cinnamon bread was pretty good... had eggs mom has decided she doesn't like eggs so made them for me... they are called Scotch Eggs... rather like them but actually cooked them to long
Monday I need to plant flowers but I want to get something more for the window boxes.. should have done that today but like I said I talked myself out of everything
enjoyed the pictures... Sue
It sounds like pretty soon the two kitties will enjoy each other...
you all have a great day
