Had a terrible night's sleep last night. Did not get to bed until 1 am. Then got to worrying about going to Ghost Ranch where Georgia O'Keefe lived, so checked online and found out I needed reservations for a tour, so took one of the last two spots for today.

Went back to bed and about an hour later, one of my three smoke/CO/propane alarms starting beeping to tell me it needed to be replaced. Thought it was CO alarm so took it off the ceiling--Nope not that one. Turned out to be smoke alarm, but had to get a stool and stand on it, then twist it to get it off ceiling, put new battery in it, but dropped it in the front cab area, so new battery and used flashlight this time, and finally screwed it back to ceiling. By now it was 4:30 am. Got a couple of hours sleep and finally woke up and could not get back to sleep again.

Got up at9:30 am, packed up and took RV to dump tanks, then quick visit to visitor center, and finally on to Ghost Ranch. Had a good time on tour, then went to Abiquiu to pick up large package of mail my son had sent General Deliver. Went through it and sorted it, and now am ready for a shower and early bed. Need some of Barbie's chocolate chip cookies but too tired. Tomorrow, will tackle figuring out a few bills for my aunt that I think her supplement should pay, and a handful of my mail issues. Also need to make a call to a couple of charities and chew them out for putting me on their mailing lists--got 5 letters from one and two from another. Grrrrrr!!!

TODAY seems to be a rather large "ISSUE DAY" for many of us. Tomorrow can only get better

I am going to Idaho Falls tomorrow for a few hours problem is it's a 2 hour drive give or take so it is really a long day and it is going to be a late night... son in law is picking me up at 5 so don't think I will be back till midnight or so... so niece was going to check up on mom... got a surprise call from my brother he is going to come and pick up mom take her to his house for a couple of days... so he can take mom shoe shopping and because my niece is just starting a new job he didn't want any more stress on her... works for me hopefully he can find shoes or a shoe repair place... but it did surprise me...
I actually got the rotisserie to work heck of a time to get it out though I think I didn't get the fork part down far enough so it was too close to where it goes into the A/F at least that was my feeling... tastes pretty good made rice pilaf with it mom didn't even touch it put it on the plate and stared at it... so giving it to niece and family other than that not much done... oh clothes folded and put away that is a bonus right?
youngest called me on a video call I didn't think we could do them as we have different phones no she went with apple I think and I am with not apple... her husband even popped in for a moment haven't talked with him in several months.. she showed me her new plant so cute so different I don't remember what it was will have to find out bet Shirl would enjoy looking at it... it's good we have a safe place to vent if we need too...
will need to get up on time so I can pack up a few things for mom haven't told her about the plans yet spaced it out
it's good Barbie that you have some hair cuts to do have you checked out the temp services yet?
enjoy your visit Anita
have fun in the garden Karen...
sounds like your genny got some exercise Sue bet it felt good to have it..
Cheryl what part of Utah is getting the flooding ..? I remember when we first started RVing we went to Iowa hit it when they had their 500 year flood couldn't go anywhere to speak of without having to reroute... we were going to go up into Canada couldn't do that either.. anyway there is always that long straight road up through NV that will take you into Idaho probably close to Twin Falls area but not been that way so not sure at all... you can always hang out longer in Vegas if you are still going that way as the flooding will end quicker that it would in the mid west... and don't think of the flooding in Utah as the same as when the rivers in the mid west flood not near the same... can't remember the year it did it but city creek I think flooded they sand bagged state street and set the flooded waters done this big street you can google it I am sure my husband laughed and laughed at what they called a flood...
you all have a great day

Sheila~ I didn't catch exactly where in it was flooding. They mentioned "up north" a few times and were interviewing an alfalfa farmer who said no one in his family couldn't remember their field nor being planted yet.

Did a haircut this morning and she gave me $40! :o When my clients hand me money, I just put it in my pocket and say thank you, without looking at it. I think it is rude to count it when they hand it to me. I take whatever is given to me but don't check until I get home. So anyways, that was nice! On the way back to my place, I stopped at the putting course and played a round. I did pretty good! The 9th hole is really long and goes uphill and curves to the right, at the end. It is also right on the edge of the lake. :o It is a par 4 (meaning it should take 4 strokes to get it in the hole) and most people get well over that since it is such a difficult hole to play. I have gotten it in 3 strokes a couple of times, but today I actually got it in 2 strokes!!! That is almost unheard of! I was very happy! Too bad there wasn't anyone else around to witness it!

I joined a few FB ADHD pages and have excitedly found my tribe!! I can so relate to everything they post on them! A couple of the pages are just fun ADHD memes which are hilarious and so on point! The two others are women's groups. Lots of good info and support on there. Spent a lot of time checking those out today. I still haven't heard back from the psychiatrist that I was referred to about getting diagnosed, so I will call my doctor's office tomorrow and see if they have someone I can go to for that. Also need to pick up a copy of the MRI on my knee to bring with me on Monday to the ortho Dr.

I got a summons for jury duty for the end of May! I got out of the last one because they never needed me to go in. Not sure if I will get that lucky this time, tho. Luckily, the county court house is just a few miles from me, if I do have to go in.

I am working on getting an appointment with the county WorkForce that helps people find jobs and/or training, etc.

Kept thinking all day that it was Wednesday. Oops! Tomorrow (actually today since it is now 12:01am) is already Friday! There is a Cinco De Mayo potluck here tomorrow afternoon. Will go to that and get some free food :D (I did pick up some mini soft taco boats to share tho). They will have taco fixings, etc there. Should be fun! Not too many things happening here now that most people have already left for the season. Saw one motorhome head out from down the street this morning. Getting pretty quiet on my street now.

It was nice and cool again today and just breezy. We did have one huge gust blow thru this afternoon and blew some stuff over in my porch and on my deck. Just one quick gust tho, and back to just breezy. Feels good tonight having the windows open again and fresh air coming in.

Off to bed...
