Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning all. A chilly start to the day again and looks like the way of it for awhile with rain in the forecast for a string of days. Tomorrow is supposed to be the best day so will need to get out and mow before it all moves in. Been reading about everyone’s days and lots going on! For me I’ve been dealing with some medical stuff but hoping that I’m coming out of it all although it remains to be seen. This old age sure isn’t a picnic! I wasn’t able to go to the orientation for Buddy’s class last Friday so need to go to the pet store and pick up the paperwork I missed so we’re ready for this week’s class. I sure hope this helps us civilize the boy! I probably need it more than Buddy does! I must remember to grab his shot record to show them too. I watched my neighbors having the huge pine tree taken down the last few days. We’ve all been concerned about it when we have strong wind. If it fell my direction it would probably take out part of my fence! And that’s with an empty lot between us! It’s a shame to have to sacrifice it but it’s definitely been a safety concern for them. And me too! So that’s about it for me! Karen, enjoy your new car and Beth sure hope things improve for you with your work. Barbie, hope you’re able to settle into your job. I may not comment but have been following all the going ons of everyone! Hope you all have a safe day and find some joy in your day.

Good Morning Sharon and all who follow. It’s cloudy and 32° here at the 45th. You are getting the weather we have been having. Supposed to warm up more today, more Into the mid 40’s and maybe upper 50’s by Friday, but then settle back into the mid 40’s by weekend. I don’t have much to do outside right now, so am continuing to just trace and paint my two wood figures for the entrance flowerbed.

Sharon, hope you get your medical issues straightened out. Yes, getting old is no fun. I found out I have some osteopenia and also have low Vitamin D. But calcium levels are normal. So am watching my diet and want to lose weight as well as bring my cholesterol down. Was told to avoid wheat, milk, and sugar, Increase my intake of Vitamin D, follow low carb diet, eat lots of veggies and protein. Not missing bread or sweets. Not good for you anyway. So far down 10 pounds. Been doing a little research on what’s good and not good for bone health, so watching consumption of some foods. Not to stay away from some completely, but will have on occasion. And exercise, the which of course I do anyway. She just sent me all the results and this info, she didn’t talk to me in person. Most of it is for the average person, and no two people are alike, so I am catering this to fit me.

Need to get to town and get some shopping done as the sewer and septic folks are coming out this afternoon to pump my septic tank. So that will be another maintenance chore done for 6 or 7 years. Driveway reseal won’t be until June sometime.

Morning All, 56° and partly sunny. Yesterday was a fun day on the balcony. Air quality was good and 71° on the south facing balcony. Large pots are place d in litter pans, used the hand vac to clean up spilled potting soil. Hung the solar lantern on the Shepard hook. Afraid to leave there over night so placed it on the bistro table. I fell asleep watching it flicker, very pleasant. Today repotting a couple houseplants and indoor watering. Just putzing indoors but will sit outside in the sunshine when available. Fish, chips and asparagus for dinner. Be safe.

Yesterday I went and took my son to his doctor's appointment. They want him there 20 minutes early and then didn't call him for 50 minutes. That place has their own pharmacy so then you have to wait for the nurse to call the prescription into the next office. Another 30 minute wait. His appointment was at 12:00 and we didn't get out of there until 2:00. I'm glad I remembered to bring a jacket because you could hang meat in the waiting room it's so cold.

Judy, you are so organized with all your campgrounds. I'm doing good to keep up with one reservation a month. I didn't sign up of the May campout so I will probably go to the lake with my sister. The June campout is back almost to Mississippi again.

Anita, have a safe trip. I think if I had to take a long car trip I would feel like sleeping in my car at a campground. I do not feel safe at motels. There are only 2 campgrounds around here that I won't stay in because they are in a bad area. There is a campground in Lafayette that is in a neighborhood and a friend had her trailer hitch stolen.

Yesterday I was looking at cars online so today my Facebook is full of car ads. I can't decide if I should get my 2013 Honda towable or get a new car to put the equipment on. My Honda has 93,000 miles on it but I have never had any problems with it. Or I could wait until the 2024's come out. What I'll probably do is nothing. I wish the new Hondas could be towed.

I need to mow the yard and load the mower and go mow in Maurice. There is a 70% chance of rain tomorrow and rain again Saturday and Sunday.

When I went to feed the cats there was a snake coming up the hill in the front yard. I shot at it 3 times with the 22 and didn't hit it. At least it decided to go back down the hill.

I need to do a better job of taking my vitamins. I have to take them after a meal or they make me nauseous. I would like to give blood to see what my numbers are but they wouldn't take it until I take my iron for a few weeks. That's probably why I'm so slow, my iron is low.

Good evening gals!

Work was kind of frustrating today. I thought I was doing really well and making good time on the joints I was doing, but a supervisor came and looked at them and informed me that I wasn't packing the pot down tight enough and the weights were too low on them. So then I worked on packing them tighter but the papers they use were tearing when I put too much pressure in them. The rest of the day was just packing, tearing apart, weighing, adjusting, etc which really took a long time to try and get them right. The gal next to me was just zipping thru hers about one joint every 3 seconds (to my one every minute! ). I was feeling a little defeated. I did really well with the weights at the other shop I worked at. This is just frustrating. Hopefully, with practice, it will get easier. I am just an impatient perfectionist.

I also used my head phones today to listen to my own music but I had to really crank it up to drown out the extremely loud rap and hiphop they were playing. And the combo of the two types of music (I was listening to 70's and 80's oldies) was a bit distracting to say the least. Oh well...

Between that and my sore back, I am a beat up and frustrated old lady!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Martha, the older I get the more organized I need to be. Without my Excel spreadsheet telling me where I need to go, I would be completely lost. And you need a small shotgun to go after snakes--wider spread will mean it will be easier to get them!

Another long drive today. Am in Farmington, NM, and I swear there are no decent campgrounds for 50 miles from this town. There are about a dozen, but I looked them all up on Google and checked reviews and they are all old and full of broken down trailers from full timers. (I know--not all full timers have broken down trailers, but they all looked older with crowded small spots. So, I have been here before, and instead of spending $40 to $50 for a crummy place, I am staying in the county fairgrounds for $30. They have 24 hour security, and to say the place is not crowded is an understatement. last time I was here there were 4-5 others, but this time, so far I am alone! Water and electric, and quiet, so no complaints.

Tomorrow I head for Abiquiu in northern NM where i will stay for 12 days.

I had a great day working in the yard today. Weather is perfect but will be 92 here on Friday, that sure isnt perfect to me. But I got lots done today and hopefully tomorrow. Next week we are back to cloudy and rain....sheesh. But I am grateful for these few days. Got my garden tilled up, Weeds are dying so I will be sweeping them up before the rains come. Neighbor gave me some bulbs, not sure what they are but I will throw them somewhere and see what kind of surprises I get LOL if they grow. Also need to get my onion sets planted so will do that tomorrow too. Still dont have my car all figured out but I will eventually. I just havent had much time to just sit and fool with it. I have the important stuff figured out tho so no hurry I guess.

Had leftovers for dinner and now collapsed in my recliner.

I didn't do much today. Other than a quick ride into town for groceries I was a slug. Got barely over 5000 steps. But the next 3 days are work days so no being a slug allowed for those days. The store had some good looking pork chops on sale so I picked up a few. Two went into the freezer. One will be going in the air fryer tomorrow for dinner.

Barbie, you'll get the hang of their way of doing things. Karen, I hate to admit there are things I still don't know how to do in my 2016 car. Lol If I'm ever needing them, the manual will come in handy.

Beth the manual would be great if the print wasnt so small you need a magnifying glass to read it LOL But Youtube is good. I havent figured out alot of stuff yet cause I have been busy. i have the important stuff working so that is what counts.

I tried to get mom's shoe repaired one place was closed according to google that took me to yelp there are a couple more places here in town... so called one had to decide what place it was I wanted so choose the one that had the address I was recognizing the name of the street it rang a couple of times and then click.... so thought well I will try the other one they answered but didn't have repairs for some reason I asked about what type of shoes pretty much everything then I asked where they were California....not what Google said I think they were suppose to be on broadway but she assured me they have no stores in Wyoming... my brother sent me some links for shoes sorta glanced at them one I think she would like the problem is getting the right fit... hard to do on line... went to the post office and mailed the information that I needed to send on then in talking with brother I didn't fill out the form that I should have done... did get a DQ tried the dipped Churro flavor it's good is it worth 5 dollars not sure about that...
got a text from Brenda saying she was in IF and welling to come over so we could have lunch and visit... it will be good to see her.. she text me back said she was going to Costco do I want anything ... shoot those pink flamingo's??? they had them and they were a pair for 34 I didn't even try to talk myself out of them... hopefully they are the same as the ones I saw in Ogden at Costco price was the same or close to it if I'd realized that it was for the pair I'd probably have gotten them then... now to decide where we are going to eat at...
have a good day at work Beth... and Barbie it will take awhile to adjust possibly part of the problem is the music is to distracting... hope it works out well for you
we are at 41 that is higher than we have had day time temps for a long time...
Martha I've been told if you take iron to take C with it makes it work better...
Sue hopefully you will take pictures of your new creatures...
have fun with your garden Karen and Shirl
