Afternoon here and nobody’s around yet. Guess you are all busy like I have been this morning. Partly cloudy and breezy out there. Temp is 48° on my weather station. However the wind is cooler due to the snow n the ground. Rain moving in later.

My best plans for today are not getting very far. Had planned on vacuuming which I did and then start cleaning closets. That was before both upstairs smoke alarms decided they wanted to start that Intermittant beeping they do when the batteries start going. Except I just put new batteries in twice since late last year. So I guess it’s time to replace the detectors. I happened to have just bought two new ones to install downstairs and I brought them up and put them up, but their beep is so low, that if they were to go off, I wouldn’t hear them. My First Alerts were way louder than these two Kiddie’s I bought. Back to the store we will be going, but not today. My electrician is coming by sometime today to look over my kitchen, as I want to do something with the lighting in there. Don’t have enough in the right places. So I need to stick close to home as don’t know when he will be by. My guess is probably later this afternoon because he lives about 8 miles south of me here so maybe he may stop on his way home from wherever he happens to be working right now.

But since I just finished lunch, I guess I will go and start tackling the closets. I just want to kind of wipe the walls and shelves down and maybe see if there’s anything else in any of them, that I want to send to donation. I did drop off some stuff yesterday. So I guess I will go get busy.

WOW I thought I was late to the party...guess not. Was outside working for a while, then came in had lunch and went back outside. Wanted to put some stuff in my garbage as they come tomorrow I am done now out there. Going to make a Mocha and relax. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow so I will spray the weeds as soon as the fog lifts. We had freezing fog this morning I hate that stuff was just glad I had nowhere to be. Had a chat with my financial guy today and it went well. I didnt take it all out right now as I had a couple of things that actually improved and I would have had to pay capital gains, so we kept those and he is sending me a check on Monday. Oh now what to do with my money LOL LOL I have plans for it.
I slept better last night but I took a Benadryl and finally fell asleep by 11. Woke up this morning at 5 and got right up so hopefully now I will be back on my schedule of sleep by 10 and up by 5 or 6. We shall see.

I have done very little today I woke up feeling tired so took a morning nap. I did go to the store for Swanson's chicken broth as I wanted to make chicken soup and had forgotten to put it on DH's shopping list. Bought apples that taste like they have been in storage a long time. I guess I won't notice it in a smoothie though. I do have the soup on cooking and since it is another gloomy, damp day I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been eating well or much the last few days. I keep gaining and loosing 2 pounds I would like to gain at least 8 or more.
Carol, I'm so sorry you and Bill had so many problem getting out of Mexico. I hope they can find the parts you need to put everything back together.
Barbie, I also like scrambled eggs and have them every morning as the dogs also like them so we share. I use a Teflon pan and a very small amount of olive oil. I add either plain yogurt or a little milk while they are cooking and that seems to make them a bit softer... if I don't wander away and forget them. Sue I had to have the fire department out 3 times to change my smoke alarms apparently they got in a bad batch. It really upsets the dogs when they go off.
We had a hard freeze and a few more in the forecast over the next few days. All the pretty pink tulip poplar blossoms turned an ugly brown. I hope the fruit trees aren't hurt. There are a lot of orchards in this area. It has been a strange spring as our pear treas blossomed before the forsythia. I see Karen posted ahead of me. I'm having hot chocolate later now is the time to wine.

BJ, it's a strange spring. It was warmer than normal here this winter, now it's hot today then will be cooler than normal for a few days. I'm sure the totally green trees and singing birds are going to be confused, too. But I'm not seeing freezing happening. Windy though, really windy. Hope that over before I get on the road.

Karen, I thought I had the time change and my sleep under control. Until last night and this morning. I've gone several steps backwards. I woke up way too early this morning and finally talked myself into going back to sleep. Then hours passed. Hours! Lol I didn't wake back up until after 10! Needless to say it'll be hard getting to sleep tonight. And I got next to nothing done today.

I was intending to go into town to get a screw for my favorite pair of glasses which lost one. I was walking Ty and a couple here commented on me wearing different glasses and I mentioned needing a screw and couldn't find my eye glass repair kit (they are so small, who knows where it's hiding). And the husband said, hold on. His was in their car. My glasses are repaired and I've returned their kit to them. And by not going to town I didn't buy unnecessary items.

Otherwise I've been a couch potato watching TV except for getting occasional walks in with Ty. The laundry I got together last night is still sitting and probably will be a tomorrow chore now.

not a totally wasted day but almost... got the bathroom cleaned well as much as I ever do.. was going to have hamburgers for supper but the meat wasn't thawed and I don't like to thaw it in microwave... weird I know so hamburger's turned into goulash that works but boy do we have lots left I'll have to nephew come get some or all of it...

our storm sorta bummed out... it was suppose to be pretty bad for a couple of days... didn't happen today and or awhile we will have sun... my mom has this tree/shrub not sure what it is but its well over the window and for the first time in months it has no snow and all the ice cycles are gone...
my mind is still searching so think I will go play a game and if it surfaces will return..
