Rabbits! It's February

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Aw, Shirl, that's frustrating. Judy, whenever I shop at HEB I add in a couple of their fresh meals to mix in with my cooking and freezer meals. But today was a major splurge for me. I had received a digital coupon for Little Ceasers (I'm not sure I've ever gotten pizza, or anything else, from one). This gave me a combination 1/2 pizza and 1/2 bread stick like things for $3! It's called slices and stix. I ordered online for a specific pickup time and even on line I can splurge. I added some spicy chicken wings. After dinner tonight I have 3 more meals plus from the pizza and stix and I haven't touched the chicken. Financially I did well. And Tina, this all heats up perfectly in my air fryer.

Talking about my potential job, I'll be fine either way. But it sounds good to me. I just got an email about another job that I'm reply to if this one doesn't pan out.

Today was another dreary, cold, almost constant sprinkling day. It was good to get out for short drive and pick ups because otherwise I was sitting here sulking. It should be improving tomorrow. Hope the improvement gets to you also, Martha.

And I try to fix typos (doing everything from my phones) but know I miss some. I try to overlook them but some are just too funny to let go.

I don't mean to give anyone a hard time about misspellings, just light-heartedly point out the funny ones! No harm meant.

I called Amazon AGAIN  about getting my refund for the ebike I ordered last November and never received. I told the gal this was like my 6th or 7th call to them about it, and she corrected me, saying it was actually my 8th call! :o She was very nice and put thru the refund (I am hoping!) while I was on the phone with her. I sure hope I actually get it this time!

I also talked to the GM of our Great Clips telling her I really need to cut back my hours to just 6 hours per day. Everyone keeps passing the buck on this. I talk to my manager and he says "sure, no problem" but then I only get one short day per week. I talked to my previous manager to see if I could get shorter hours at her salon. She said to call the GM. The GM tells me to talk to my manager about it.  I told her I have already. She is the one who goes over the schedules and approves or makes changes to them. I suppose I will have to go see my doctor for a note to bring in to them. Altho, the owner says he doesn't have to abide by a doctors note. I told him that legally, he has to. He didn't agree. I am getting tired of everyone's incompetence! (and I won't mention my real estate agent... )

I got my ticket for the Tri tip dinner in 2 weeks. Yum!

Didn't get to the door handle today but can do it tomorrow. Shouldn't take too long. Just a couple bolts to hold it together. The keys never worked in the other one, so am hoping the keys for this one will. I could lock it with the latch from the inside, just couldn't lock it with the key from the outside. I usually don't lock my house during the daytime but always do at night. We don't have much problem here with theft other than an occasional bike that isn't locked and that is usually in the summer when there are fewer people around here to watch what is going on. Otherwise we have good security guys here.

Have a good night and stay warm!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Very very late, but checking in.

I managed to remember Rabbits! around 3am. Then said it again at 6 when I really got up.

Only 2 more months here in Tucson. Still have to figure out which direction I'll head. Right now, I'm thinking PNW before fire season starts. Also debating if attempt #5 to Yellowstone should be tried, much later in the season, like September after kids go back to school. Jello ideas definately.

Other things accomplished lately are watched Eileen's memorial service and David should be here tomorrow. His cousin with a place here in the park also is driving down with him to keep him company. Got the Ford front, lower bumper fixed finally after hitting a boulder at Organ Pipe NM, and mostly revisiting some places and seeing new places. Saw Brenda for a bit of bird watching this week. Oh, and had the vent cover replaced by a mobile tech after the winds blew it open. Waiting on the reimbursement check which was approved by Airstream.

What's left on the agenda is the IRS visit next Monday to prove who I am for Ma's last tax return, maintenance on the Ford, and and follow up at the dealer for a couple of little warrenty things. Probably an hour time there the week before I leave.

That's it from sometimes sunny, sometimes cold Tucson. As long as it's not snowing I'm good with it. Poor Texas. Hopefully not as bad as the winter storm I lived through 2 years ago.

On a final giggle with funny words in posts, Shirl, I had to read this twice "No wife because of outage".

Yeah, I saw that one too. Since my mental image immediately went to a place it probably shouldn't have - ahem - I decided to just let that one pass.

I too get a chuckle out of the wrong word or typo or whatever.... I'm pretty sure that I do it as well although I do try to double check and make sure I've spelled mostly correctly... I am a terrible speller one of those that if I can't spell it well enough for spell check to help out I will come up with another word that is easier to spell
I was reading about the ice and ect down in Texas horrible and sad I think I read of 7 deaths... just sad...
between my helping mom with a shower yesterday and the glare I got when I reminded her to brush her teeth today she is probably wishing I would go away... :o ok I'm not sure if my way of doing things is correct or not and perhaps when I first got here it was ok at that time her memory was ok so I would wait until she said she wanted to get a shower I've changed that over the past few months... even then though I don't do it as much as I should... I'm sure... and mom was used to having her shower at night however I am ready to not do anything after supper... other than crochet and get on the computer... and keep an eye on the tv... so I want to give her a shower after breakfast... oh well I got my way yesterday and hopefully the next time.
I did finally get the last two shelves straightened out in the freezer... I so need to shop in the freezer here at home before I add to it... it would really help the checkout shock...
I hope Barbie that you can get your hours figured out better maybe look around for a better fit or hope that your house sells...
Cheryl you do know that I'm in Jackson Wy right?
I've come to realize that when I lose a post it's cause I hit submit and don't look to make sure that it was successful in posting if I do I can resubmit it it's usually cause someone else posted.... so even though I realize this it doesn't always mean I do it...
I colored to long tonight that is the other thing coloring on the phone something I do in the evenings so now I am going to want to do a game so guess I won't make it to my room at the normal time...
we are still in the cold 7 right now although I think it got up to 24 perhaps today...
one of the things I miss not being at Q is playing games a couple times a week we usually played dominoes phase 10 ect... I really miss not just the games but visiting with friends...
you all have a great day
