The neighbors arrived today in the site next to me.Ty and I have met the man and their dog. Haven't yet met the wife. That'll happen later, I'm sure. But taking Ty out to introduce him means he accepts they belong there. I like him to know our neighbors and our territory. It keeps him from barking at them.

I did clean out the bathroom closet. Yay me lol

Good afternoon all. Been out and about for a haircut and now home trying to decide if I want to make some soup. I have juice and some meat from the roast I made the other day so thinking maybe a beef veggie soup. It’s that kind of day, gray and cold. Been watching the storms out west so I have no room to complain about what we’re having! I really haven’t been doing much, just some general cleaning and trying to keep up with this wild puppy. Trying to get a bunch of playtime with him so run off some of his energy. I’m starting to feel more comfortable letting him in on the carpet in the rest of the house since he’s doing so well with his house training. Yesterday I had to add some length to his harness so I know he’s growing and putting on some weight. Right now I can skim my hand on his back when he’s walking beside me which I couldn’t do a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly when I had a doctor appointment last week my blood pressure was way down from what it’s been running. So now I’m monitoring it in hopes I can get off the med for bp. Guess there is something to be said for having a pet! Now if I can just break him of the barking. When he gets started sometimes he won’t stop. Haven’t gotten that one down yet! And of course the chewing is still on going but that seems to have shown down some. Everyday is an adventure! So otherwise that’s about all my news! Hope everyone has a good day and stay safe.

Good afternoon from cloudy Medford Oregon. Drove down yesterday and staying with my friend in the park (she moved back last month) that burnt all of our houses down. All new homes in here now but wow are they spendy. The park is starting to take shape tho but will be several years before the vegetation takes hold and the trees grow. Her place is very nice., I go get my infusion tomorrow for 4+ hours and she will watch my dog (she has a small dog also) then we will go out to dinner. Having dinner at home tonight and another former neighbor that moved back also is going to join us. I am enjoying my time here.

My neighbor brought me to pick up the truck. I finally got the Christmas present I needed so maybe I'm thru with Christmas last year. Picked up a bag of food for Sugar. My Keurig has been giving me trouble for a couple of weeks. It would work one day and not the next without me messing with it. I finally gave up and got a new one.

I stopped at the local grocery store for some eggs. A carton of 18 large eggs was $9.66. They had some one pound pieces of meat labeled as roast. I guess that's all people can afford.

I made a reservation for the Louisiana campout this weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to go. Louisiana quit using Reserve America and I do not like what they are using. It took me 3 tries to make a reservation.

I didn't think it was suppose to rain today but it rained on me a little in town. It's suppose to storm again on Thursday. Hope I don't have to travel in the rain. I'm only going about 80 miles.

Sheila, I am friends on Facebook with Kerry so I saw her adventures in Alaska. I hope my son has as good a result as she did.

Oh, Karen, you have to have mixed feelings there. It's good that you have friends there and you'll continue visiting, but a part of you must wish you could have managed to be there now. On a good note, you do have friends where you've moved. Heck you make friends quickly where ever you go! And you are closer to Laura for visiting. But mixed feelings I'm sure.

Sheila, if Kerry wants to come back on the forum, you know I could find her and help her get back on. She's never said anything to me so I've never pushed it.

Martha, a lot of state parks have gone to their own reservations systems, and I don't like any of them. All are harder to find spaces and unclear, so much harder to use. Some will give you only the dates you entered, so no way to easily find alternative dates. Really irritating.

I am still in Napa waiting for parts so my motorhome front end can get fixed. I called today and all but the shocks are in. Shocks are due tomorrow, so if they come in, I will head there and drop off rig early Thursday, then rent a car for a couple of days. I have some earned free days through Enterprise so will use those. Should only be about a day and a half so hopefully, I can pick it up Friday and be on the road early Saturday morning. I love visiting my kids, but all are back in school, so I will be glad to head out to my next main stop--Organ Pipe National Park in southern Arizona. First night is supposed to be Tuesday, Jan 17, but I might not make that. I have reservations for 8 days there, and not only is it NOT RAINING there, but is relatively warm, like low 70s!

Going to borrow a car or maybe just call Uber and run some errands tomorrow. What I really need is a haircut and to put things in the safety deposit box, so those are first priorities.

my hair is long enough that I am on a search for those things I used to keep my hair back last time I got my hair cut swore I wasn't going to let it get that long again so not sure what I did with them possibly still in the trailer... when you get used to a stylist it's hard to make one go to another... he is in Idaho Falls and my granddaughter is doing a cosmetology class another with high school... she will complete both I think at the same time... she can cut hair but only on Fridays but she is in Ogden Ut... and my hair is just getting out of control...
I did what I set out to do sorta called and talked to reader services ... called and ordered mom's RX tried to make her an hair appointment for a cut and perm but she hasn't returned my call... was going to try and get a pedi but I just can't find where to schedule one on their website... and I found the card to get the tags for mom's car and also did two 1/2 rows on the Swedish Weave.. I am on to the next part of the pattern well see what it looks like it's been interesting to see it evolve .
Martha I've been totally impressed with how well Kerry healed from her surgery... it amazes me...
even seeing how well my SIL is doing is amazing...
think I am going to go make hot chocolate I'm not sure what is going on but I really like this hot chocolate mix that Private Selection puts out we have a Smith's here (Kroger) and I've not been able to get any for the last few shopping trips ... they have the caramel flavor one which I've not liked that much and I'm down to my last can... I hope that they get it before I run out of it...
you all have a great day

Good late evening!

This morning was beautiful sunny and fairly warm so was nice for putting. Didn't play too well again but was fun anyways. Then we went to the clubhouse for some games and lunch which was nice. Afterward, had a neighbor come over to ask about getting a haircut so I did that for him right away. The other haircut I had scheduled was postponed until tomorrow because the weather turned and it got really cloudy and windy and started raining. Didn't get much rain tho. Just enough to make designs in the dust.

Romeow is using his box but still doesn't seem really thrilled about the pellets yet. Need to trim his nails again. His new stroller should be here in a day or two! He's being such a good boy lately! Such a sweetheart! I love him to pieces! :D He seems very happy too.

Tomorrow will be finishing organizing the porch and doing a haircut. Thursday will go to the bank to deposit the state gas rebate, stop at the library, pay my property taxes, registrations, etc, and do some laundry. Then 4 days of work in a row. :(

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
