Morning All, it’s 46° and cloudy. No special plans for the day. Am tired of the gloomy weather so think I need to run errands with the window cracked and the music on. Be safe

Good morning. Hope today is better than yesterday. I was in technology he**. Woke up to no internet. Called spectrum as my router woulnt connect to the Modem. They rebooted it, checked it, said was great showing 390 mbps. So thought my router died. Went to Walmart bought a NetGear router $159 it was wifi6 so not a bad price......but it wouldnt connect either. So back to Spectrum for them to check again...nope working fine. Called NetGear they couldnt get it to connect then said it was because I didnt have security on it.....huh. So proceeded to tell me they have a 3yr plan $139 or a 5yr plan $199..........again huh???? Never had to do this before. They said that is why my old router wouldnt connect also. It is a NetGear thing apparently or they were just upselling me. Nope told them I wasnt going to pay good money for a router then have to pay to use it. They kept trying to get me to buy it...nope. Took my self to the Spectrum store, picked up a router it is $5 a month. I think that is okay as anything goes wrong they fix it or give another for free. Took them a bit to activate it but we got it done and it works great. So got up this morning, Took a shower, got dressed. Altho I was going to Walmart could have worn my jammies LOL NOT. Took it back, no problem. Stopped at the store and picked up the things I didnt get at Walmart yesterday. So now all set for a while.
So since my home is pretty Alexa operated, lights, switches, echo dots, echo show today I have to reinstall all my bulbs and switches. Already did Alexa yesterday for the dots. Still need to do my Echo Show. Reset my security cameras but will tackle my doorbell today. What a pain when you change your router or password for it. Reset all the TV's with my new router password.
Shirl, red snapper filet and green beans for dinner tonight. In case yiou were wondering ha ha.

Thanks Karen, I don’t have snapper but do have cod and green beans. Riding with the window cracked doesn’t help. Need the window wide open and music blaring. Trying to shake the blahs and get motivated. Or maybe just relax and breathe.lol

Karen, hope your internet is working. Mine has only gone out once since Scott has been gone and they finally got it working for me. I have satellite internet so it goes off in bad weather just like the Direct TV.

I'm not sure what is going on with the local Walmart. They had plastic sheeting covering the refrigerated vegetables, the case with all the juice, butter and eggs and where the yogurt and some cheese is. The meat case wasn't covered. There were a lot of Walmart employees that I didn't recognize. I should have ask what is going on. The girl that was checking me out was being trained so didn't want to interrupt her. The dog food aisle was packed but a lot of the cat food was missing and not much cat litter. They didn't have Sugar's food so guess I will have to go to Lafayette in a few days.

I have a Christmas present I need to get and I so don't want to go shopping.
