I got a e-mail from Dakota Post today saying they were going to be closed today due to weather and possibly tomorrow they would know more tomorrow.... I do believe that between the holidays and weather they have been closed more than open... and I need to put some money in my postage file... oh well maybe tomorrow... just need to before the 15th so I get my mail sent...
Evie why can't you go on a cruise??? other than cost they can be expensive... it would be a good break but it's something that although I totally enjoyed mine I wouldn't want to go by myself... would want to have a friend or family member with me... somethings I can do alone others not so much
I was going to say something about something and no idea now what it was... none at all
you all have a great day

Pat, those photos remind me of MN winters way back when I was a kid. We got a lot more snow back then. Will be a long winter for you and those in the upper midwest this year. :(

We are supposed to have some rain tomorrow but any flooding in the valley here will be mostly runoff from the mountains.

I went to do the haircut today and the house was all locked up. Called the lady and she said she had called and left a message yesterday to cancel because her husband was having health issues. I never got that message but we agreed to reschedule later in the week. No big deal.

I called my doctors office again this afternoon about my prescription and was told my doctor will "get to it when she has time". Great! Well, I have an appointment with her tomorrow morning so I will make sure I get it taken care of then! I need her to give me refills for the next year so I can get them filled where ever I am when traveling. I think she won't agree to that tho. We'll see...If I wasn't planning to move, I would find a new doctor. I am sure I will hear all about my cholesterol and needing to take the statin drugs.

My second batch of chili is better than the first one. I brought some over to my neighbor lady since I had a lot and am getting a little tired of chili now.

Off to bed now...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
